They should next ban the ridiculous breaks in between ....well everything. I understand it's all there so that the media companies can squeeze more adverts into the programme and such, but if American football ever wants to be treated as a serious sport...it needs to treat itself as a serious sport instead of a cash cow and entertainment.

the BBC air about two games a season. The superbowl and also the game at Wembley stadium. They show how nice things can be when there's no adverts and the commercialism is toned down by about 90%. Otherwise when you're watching NFL regularly it's a complete mess on TV with all the breaks and the nonsense.
