nah, we're looking for which car has the cheapest insurance before deciding lol but i think it'd just be easier to get the car and then look for the cheapest quoteSamTheMan wrote:

cheap insurance, not a citreon saxo then. my insurance is £2074 a year(my dad is paying for first year thank god), hopefully will go down after one year.
quinn was cheapest for me, but they went into receivership a few months ago so i made my work pay my insurance for me.
check direct line too, they don't appear on insurance comparason websites and a few of my friends got the cheapest quote with them.

Dauntless what do you do mate? you're always chatting about buying this and that, some mad expensive shit too
Get the absolute cheapest car you can stand to drive. It's pretty much a given that you're going to get into an accident with your first car, so it's usually better to save yourself the grief.
I drive an '89 Honda Accord, it's been with my family for ages. Didn't cost me a cent to obtain, pretty damn fast and reliable, and no one in my family gives a shit if I dent it (I haven't, yet).

Even I think think that's overly pessimistic, I don't know anyone who's had an accident with their first car and with UK driving laws the way they are now, you'd have to be a complete moron to drive fast enough to be likely to get into trouble, one single incident in the first 2 years and the chances are your license is gone.Tetrino wrote:

Passed my test earlier today. 4 minors, 2 for not checking the blindspot fully and another 2 on observations in the reverse park, apparantly the rest of it was more than enough to make up for that though so he didnt fail me
I'd type my pc specs out all fancy again but teh mods would remove it. Again.
Nice one man.
My test is in 7 weeks
Good luck, it flies by... mine took 40 mins which was enough time to get round the corner and back xDFinray wrote:
