This is the award to commend the person who has given their utmost to the forum, be it through making us all cry with laughter, helping someone to fix or achieve something. There are a lot of contenders for this most prestigious award.
Newcomer of the year
This is the award for the best n00b of 2009. He (or she) who has excelled in the forum the most in their first twelve months of registration.
Mod of the year
This is the award to commemorate the moderator that has done the most (nb: doesn't not mean banned the most) for the forum in 2009
Thread of the year
Their are a lot of contenders for this award, this is for the thread that made you cry with laughter, or made you think about something so much your head exploded.
Troll of the year
This award is to applaud the biggest arsehole of 2009. He who has wound us all up, made us punch a hole in a donkey's face with abject rage, but never been serious.
Meme of the year
What's your favorite meme of the year been?
Ban of the year
This is the award for that amazingly lengthy absence from the forum, entirely through the user's wrongdoing. It could be a ragequit, or a helluvalot of spam
Post of the year
Another coveted award, the Post of the Year. What has been the single most amazing post in 2009?

Jackass of the year
The award for the biggest fuck-nugget of 2009. It could be Finray's How-to-ruin-your-relationship post, or Irishpride.
EE member of the year
Who has been your favorite EE member of the year? Nominations and reasons please.
DST member of the year
Liberal Douchebags, or Right-Wing Fascists, it doesn't matter, all we want to know who you thought was the best member in D&ST this year.
Tech member of the year
The award for the Tech-Head who has been there to aid you when your PSU exploded, sending your HSF scything though your femoral artery, spraying blood all over your brand new Intel XPG SSD.
Gamer of the year
The award for the biggest game-guru of the year. This member could have completed CoD: MW2 with their eyes shut, one hand up their ass, and their hair on fire, or they could just have given a lengthy, yet helpful review on an old-release.
Canadian of the year
Their's a lot of them, they're kinda like America's headlice, but we love 'em anyway. Who was your favorite Cannuck of 2009?
American of the year
Yes, they may eat too much. Yes, they may be incredibly loud and obnoxious. But, without a certain few of them, this forum would be boring.
European of the year
It may be the Tech-Gods from Scandinavia, or the the most active members from mainland Europe, or the football-lovers from the Uk, this award is for your favorite EU member of 2009
Aussie of the year
Okay, so they're situated somewhere near the arsehole of the world, but we can't fault them for that. With many to choose from, including the AWSM-addicted Reaper, to the photogenic mod, McMinty.
Favorite member from the rest of the world
