I have a habit, no idea why, of leaning to the right whenever I prone. Not sure why, but I do. Bugs the crap out of me. Also, going around corners without lean is annoying as hell. Additionally, from TF2/ CSS I have a habit of constantly tapping my Q key, and so forth constantly flash bang myself : /Doctor Strangelove wrote:

from spam spotting on BF2, whenever i see an enemy on MW2 disappear behind a building before i can light him up i hit Q for the 'enemy spotted'. Nearly outta the habit now
It is easier to headshot people that lean.
"Raise the flag high! Let the degenerates know who comes to claim their lives this day!"
Well considering it's impossible to lean, and possible to headshot, I guess you're right.Blade4509 wrote:

I'm almost out of ammo in my clip and know there's a guy coming towards me, so I hit Q to switch, and end up stunning myself. D:

Stun grenades in FPS's work as well for balance as Micheal Jordan in an all-midget basketball team.

Is knife only still about equal to using guns in MW2? It's how I spent most of my time in MW1
Triple Stun
Juggernaut
Iron Lungs
Dodge, sprint, stab, repeat, and still somehow get a KDR of 3:1

And yes, it still lunges 6 feet and has auto-aim if that's what you mean. Goddamn I hate the knife in MW/MW2.
I completely and wholeheartedly agree with the aussie. I woulda shelled out the 60 for this game if it had dedicated server support and the ability to edit controls. however in not adding those in IW will not be getting their share of the 60 dollars that i instead spent on a 4 year old game that amuses the shit out of me, CiV 4 and its expansions. (still have 20 bucks left over too) But hey, if you guys like it im not going to stop you and say "HEY FAGGOTS PLAY A REAL GAME" because that would be a dick move, so have your fun and i will have mine. just remember you paid more for less.AussieReaper wrote:
The only counter argument you can offer is that "yeah, but it's fun", which is fine obviously, but I'm not arguing that it is or isn't fun. That's purely an individual experience and could very well be fun to you.
My argument is that IW have downgraded the quality of the PC game simply out of their lack of care towards the pc player base and individuals such as yourself. That you can blindly ignore that, to me, is incredible.
I have no problem whatsoever with you finding it enjoyable. lol
You can edit controls..
What's the status on that MP crack, I heard it had been patched but cracked again?
There's a 1.0.166 out, but you get kicked three mins after joining.Sydney wrote:

1.0.159 (original crack) still works, but you're only connecting to other cracked people. Lower population = longer wait times for a party to fill. Still works 100% though.
I saw one in my second game online. Think someone fluked one in a care packageUzique wrote:
you have any idea how difficult that is to get? there are quite a lot of measures in place - as well as the general design of the maps, perks and weapons - which make it pretty difficult for anyone to campwhore for 25 kills and to have the necessary rank/unlocks to be able to drop 'the bomb'. ive not seen one in 15hrs of multiplayer play yet.AussieReaper wrote:

At this point I think you've gotta decide whether to buy it or quit playing it (either forever, or until it reaches a price you'd be willing to pay)
I got a little preview of it, and despite the flaws, I was able to enjoy it and have fun, so I'm gonna purchase it. It'd be nice to play game modes other than TDM or Ground War and not have to wait 10, 20, 30 minutes to connect to other players, only to have a host migration error.

Give it a day, two max, there'll be a new crack. I can be patient for free games.mtb0minime wrote:

With MW1 it was simply a matter of getting a hold of a legit CD key. One of my friends took his roommate's key since his roommate never played. And even when his roommate did play and they accidentally wound up online at the same time, or even in the same server at the same time, both games still worked
ok simply put.
If you want to have fun, buy this game
If you want a game to poke holes in, buy this game

Ok Reaps, MW2 is a lot better than MW, gameplay wise.
MW was absolute shit, one of the worse multiplayer games I've played. MW2 vastly improves on that.
Nonetheless, MW2 still isn't a good game. MW had a much better single player, and as painful as it is to say, was less consolized.
It doesn't surprise me at all that Activision spent 3x as much on advertising than developing MW2. I've been saying that was where gaming was going for years, Hype is far more important than quality. It's funny that even when everything I say comes true, people are still quite happy to call me a troll.

Everyone was/is expected to beta test IW.net The consumers got such a consolised version that IW had to replicate the PSN and Xbox live.
Plus take into account they didn't even release a demo (unlike Bad Company2). Hence the huge marketing ploy. If you can't get people to hype your own product, you've got to do it yourself.
