On Sunday October 25th 2009 I will be moving the BF2s server (Gibson) to the new data center our host built. During that time frame access and stats will be temporally unavailable. I don't know exactly when I will be arriving in Dallas (driving from Austin) so I don't have an exact time. Just remember when you go; "wtf bf2s?" on Sunday the 25th its because of me. >.<

If any of you are curious about the new datacenter:

The drive is about 3-3.5 hours, depending on which parts of each city you are going to/from for those without intimate knowledge of Texas geography.

Add another couple hours for getting it set up and whatnot, maybe food break in there, should everything go right it will probably take about 6 hours. Not to put words in duk0r's mouth.

The new location is only about 10 miles away so it should be a minimal downtime. Hope you guys like the new Data center!
Hope the move goes smoothly and is just plug n' play!!

We also have about 200 Juniper switches too

Most of you have noticed that the server move took forever. Chalk that one up to me not being able to make it up to Dallas due to a downed production server at work. I was unable to leave in time to make the 6-hour round trip to the colo.
Then having to rely on the host to move the server to their new colo for me. Toss in some n00b NOC techs, network engineers, shitty account reps, and... Viola! 4+ days downtime and countless phone calls/emails not returned or severely belated. Rest assured e-mails to CTOs, CIOs, COOs, CEOs, and EIEIOs are in order.

Anywho,... back in action.
