I recently bought a new mobo and processor combo. Trying to install it today, it threw a blue screen at me. My friends have been telling me to watch out for old drivers, so i loaded up safe mode and went about trying to find the drivers.

Turns out I can't actually find them. I tried installing the new drivers over the old ones, to no avail.

Where would I go to find these drivers? I've already tried Add/Remove Programs. I'm running XP (32bit).

Help wanted.

What mobo & CPU did you buy?

You can find driver details in Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device manager.

Bam. And I now know that, but it doesn't say where my motherboard drivers are.

I'd reformat tbh.

Oh yeah, if you are using a old HDD with this new mobo you have to reinstall the OS, preferably reformat the HDD for it to work.
