Brain Dead is known as Dead Alive in the States, it's the same movie.
That lawnmower scene is still judged the most gory scene in movie history based on the volume of fake blood used.
Brain Dead/Dead Alive is worth seeing even if you don't care about gore 'cause it's just an awesome funny zombie movie. "I kick ass for the lord!" is one of the greatest movie quotes in history.

I saw midnight meat train in theaters for $2. I was expecting it to be bad but the ending is just plain retarded.
