I'm doing Civil. I have used "SolidEdge" or something at Uni once (it was average).

Where I work (a civil engineering place, water treatment etc) we use Autodesk Inventor, which is like a much more improved version of Autocad - you make drawings from models rather than the other way round. Much more logical.

year 9 graphics, it was a sarcastic post, seeing as most of the students knew more than the teacher after 2 terms, when we moved into inventor it took us about half a term

Did you ever notice how quick ACME's shipping was? As soon as Wiley Coyote or Bugs Bunny dropped a letter in the mail, a truck arrived within seconds with his package. The logistics behind their supply chain management was incredible. Sure, they were A Company that Makes Everything, but I was always impressed on their shipping response time.

I gotta agree with you there, cheez.

I order some rocket-skates from them and they arrived literally within 30 seconds of me having posted the letter. I put the skates on a blasted straight off a cliff.

They sent me a second pair free of charge. Great customer service.

I crashed those into what I thought was the scenery but turned out to be an elaborately painted brick wall.

So they sent me a third pair with no change to the warranty at all. Brick walls painted as continuing road was covered, thank god.

Long story short the road runner has still to date eluded me. But I'm going to order the catapult from them soon.
