I like lead-acid batteries. They're the big bad fuckers of energy storage. I mean come on, they consist of a poisonous metal, some deadly acid, they weigh tons and can give you a thousand amps if you so wish. If you hook three of these motherfuckers up in series, you can weld with them!

And yes, this is a serious thread. I'm just asking what kind of battery you think is the best for storing electrical energy in.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. (Please excuse any dodgy typing from me this week, this is my fourth day in the grip of the flu. I'm getting better in the respect that I've not had any more rampant fevers that have caused me to spend 15 minutes in the bathroom convinced that if i left it i would be crushed to death for some reason, what made it worse was that whenever i did leave it i could barely breathe and felt sick until i went back into the bathroom. Eventually i legged it back to bed and took many deep, mucas filled breathes to get rid of the sick feeling from leaving the bathroom.
