BF2S Forums Punkbuster server linux 64 problem

The solution isn't that simple as it may sound. I didn't found files required pb linux64 for bf2 server in evenbalance website, the way I updated pb was: I downloaded those 2 *.so files for linux64, left them in <bf2>/pb/dll, then downloaded all *.htm files from other linux64bit bf2 server and uploaded to correct place (*only *.htm's, because if you will overwrite everything, pb will not start) and then ran pb_sv_update few times and last action was pb_sv_restart. I don't know how that server admin updated server, but for me it took me about 20 - 25 hours to make pb work as it should work. I spooked with some people, they told me, that they migrated to 32bit, because of this pb bug. But running bf2 server on linux64 machine is worth your time, cause loads are very nice

Problem solved!

- Downloaded an actual PB_amd-64 folder from another up to date Linux 64 Server
- Deleted the 32bit folder and the messed up 64bit folder
- replaced the 64bit folder with the new one
- restarted Server - and PB is up and running!
