With a proper sauce it is orgasmic... so tender, so lean... none of that stupid gristle and shit that you chew and chew and chew some more but never end up swallowing. It's pricey, but if you're a good cook you can make it yourself for cheaper than at a restaurant.

The T-bone when properly cut is the best cut on the cow. So many butchers eliminate the filet from he porter on most "t-bone" cuts it's sad. It's like most people don't realize they are getting ripped off.

If I had to chose one between the filet and the porterhouse i'd pick the Porter.
