People would still answer it, regardless of whether it has a question mark on it. If someone refused to answer it on the basis that "i don't know what they're saying" well then that person would be classified as a retard and customarily sent for execution on the grounds that their intelligence is too low for society.

Well, my original intentions were to have discussions about why people thought a certain invention was great or not, then realized after numerous posts, it was going to be a lot of 'Internet/Porn' answers. So I tried to change the topic to something along the lines of what kind of inventions benefit humanity? type thing for two reasons. 1 - Don't want this in the Junk Drawer, 2 - There were too many inventions to state one as the best.

I personally agree with that 100%. However, I can see also the deterrent they pose to everyone. But all it takes it someone to go too far and it's over.
