Something with the server maybe? Try another server and see what happens. Every once in a while the server and you dont get a good connection and weird shit happens.
gfx card overheat?? yup, think so....

Don't shoot your teammates or play in a FF=0 server....

Try updating or reinstalling your GFX drivers.
I've seen this happen with some nVidia drivers on certain BF2 quality settings. Simply changing your BF2 video settings might correct the problem.
Try changing the drivers for your graphics card
i think the terrain textures can't handle dynamic lighting/shadows if they're on low, and as such revert to a solid, easily renderable black which fits all circumstances

Yeah, have to agree with the general consensus here, looks like typical artifact's from a overheated G-card. Turn off your pc, unplug you card and give it a good clean, getting all the dust etc out of it. Carefull on touching it though. Cans of compressed air are great for that.

I'm an idiot. I thought you were on a server that had started and it was showing up as you teamkilling people that you werent and there were patches in the graphics. Yeah, your connection with the server wont mess with your graphics. Definitely your graphics card.Miniman7474 wrote:

I got some weird problems one night, where trees disappeared and objects were stretching into giant triangles. It seems it might have been my card overheating though I'd no way to tell it was. Next day it was fine, so I'm not sure, sry.
My card is not overheating, I changed my nVidia drivers.
And still nothing.
