Ive only pulled out 4 pistol kills in a row before the enemy were on to me.

Playing karkand i proned next to my own team tank and just picked off people he was shooting or didnt kill outright.

It was a nice srategy i must say, but then a Sargeant major kept picking me off cause i got him 3 times. lol

500 Pistol kills is tougher than 100 knife kills.

THe hardest one for me is the Explosives ordinance. Damn, I always end up with 12 or 11 kills. NOT 13. Urgh!

Know what? Most of the time in a round, i always end up with 30 kills of pure c4 whoring.

I need help with hotswitching with the C4. I try to switch to blow myself and the other guy up, but always end up dropping more C4 packs.

Curse at peole in game they will seek you out and come at you with knives out
Stay in alley at Karkand hotel in game beggining
always have knife out
Stay near corners
be a medicdrop a medic kit at your feet

I got basic knife and pistol in the same round plus Purple heart lol
Then Basic EXp.

Later I got Veteran Knife and pistol in the same round.

Keep at it . Takes 10 games all with knife B4 u get lucky

the knife badges are very easy , u have to go behind the enemies without they discover u and then if they stop , u kill them with knife!
I got my basic and veteran in karkand, and my expert in night flight, cause u can hide very well and they don't notice u.
so try getting them

With knife, you should mainly try to get behind the person as mentioned above, watch UAV's very closely, get good at this it will be no problem. I have gotten about 38 knife kills in one round (screen shot availiable) with my pure knife account. Knife is very fun and effective. Another tip is to watch your commanders spotted, if a person is at a flag, such as Square on Karkand, take a guess where he is laying down (depending on what the spotted shows, if dot is moving or still) then rush in there, and go where he is at, by rock or tree. After you do that, just stab him, he probably wont even have time to react effectively. Hope this helps.

Hey dudes, in reply to ur question about knife kills, it's mainly luck. The main aim is to sneak up on people and use UAV to your advantage. Hell, most of my knife kills the guy was prone and looking the other way, that's how I earned my Veteran and Basic at the same time lol.

Let's take an example of a few of my knife kills. The first thing to realise is that you're going to be crap at getting knife kills in the first place, but keep practising, soon you'll get a guy in the face if ur lucky

Strike at Karkand: I was MEC sneaking up on a guy defending the suburb flag. Then, one of my teammates comes up the road in a tank and the USMC guy rushes to the TOW and looks towards the tank, whereas I am to the far left of him. I rushed up, crouched, and bam. Knife kills like that really get ur adrenaline up and it's most rewarding when u get ur knife badge.

You need to put this file in:

My Documents>Battlefield 2>Profiles>Default>demos>

Then inside BF2 goto community and play the file.

Expert knife was a bit tricky, but I did get it in a few attempts @ Strike at Karkand.
And it was so much fun to do!

However, I still am not even close to 500 pistol kills.

omg u must really suck transport one is easy get a boat and drive somewhere behind the us ship and w8 10 minutes (btw u can go get a snack during that time) pistol is very easy all u need to do is keep ur gun in ur pocket and use just ur pistol
but the knife is hard u got it already on strike on krakahnd good luck trying to get it

my record of knife kills in one round is 44, the idea is to sneak up on ure enemy and never to have your knife out until your about to knife em, this way u can gun them down if they spot you, otherwise you'll get killed, there aren't many people who like to knife and if they see someone with a knife charging them, they usually aren't good sports and pull their knives out aswell. people say that to go prone and knife is the best way, but for me its to just crouch and knife, this way i can be a little quicker at runnning at em again if i miss or chase down the next guy. fun tip: if u see a medic going to revive someone, go and kill them again and sometimes you'll get a medic reviving alot of people, so you go and knife them all aswell, people who just get revived aren't totally focused and are suprised a little, so they'll be easy targets lol, many times i have killed 5 people at once with the knife coz some silly medic revived them while i was knifing them all lol

This may be a little cheap, but it works. Go to a server, preferrably Karkand or Mashtuur because the walking distances are shorter. Be commander, do satellite scans, and find the one red dot far away from everyone and not moving. Get in a Vodnik, go knife their commander. Keep doing this until he figures it out. I did this on a 16 player server, on the 64 person map at Sharqi and got like 15 knife kills, but I didnt have 50 yet, so I didnt get veteran...

I got my knife on Wake.
The first 2 were anti tank looking the wrong at the airfield,
the rest were on the beach trying to get up the hill to the airfield.
I got 3 in a row while they were trying to shoot me and I'm crap with a knife.
Keep trying you'll get it.

Knife combat was painfully easy for me, I was on a 64 player Karkand server and three quarters of the time the whole battle takes place at the Hotel, so there was an abundance of people to slice, When I got the badge I actually finished with a 7:5 K ration, then I switched to my assault rifle and went nuts for the rest of the round happy that I got the Knife combat badge, Pistol combat was even easier. I now have over 50 kills so I'm going for the Veteran Pistol Combat Badge any day now, just need an easy 7 kills IAR

Yey i got mine yesterday on Sharqi...the MEC took over the TV station, i sneaked as a medic around, they were all sniping on that small hill between station and the sea, so i just went up to them and STAB!...then sneaked into station itself...i think those confined stairwells are the best for the knife...

p.s. i think the MAIN thing to getting all the knife badges is this:
