Name My SimCity

Hmmm...interesting proposition. Also, if no one cares about my stupid thread, then why did they respond? Doesn't that degrade the whole concept of a forum? It doesn't? Really? Then get the hell out, you don't belong in this forum, where people constantly create threads. The best part is, this is the Junk Drawer, where this fits best. But don't let me hold you back. Get out now, while you have the chance.

Anyway, I went with "Kirkopolis". The population's about 5500 right now, and I somehow was able to bypass dirty industry and started developing high-tech industry. Go figure.

I'm making about $700 in revenue a month, and feature a citizen named Sturgeon Bond (also go figure).

Plus, the entire city is built on a couple of islands I poofed up in San Francisco Bay.

And maybe the intrawebz weren't the best choice for asking for city names.

Hmmm, what's your theme gonna be? For example, in AoE III I named my Spanish capitol city Del Monte with explorer Jose Cuervo. Pick the town from one of your favorite movies or TV shows if you want. One of my neighborhoods in The Sims 2 is called Cypress Creek as a reference to the Simpsons episode with Hank Scorpio.

Well, I already named my city "Kirkopolis", derived from "Kirkland", probably derived from "Karkand" (thank you, TMo).

Anyway, I'm taking numbers from anyone who'd like to be represented by a Sim in my city. I've got 4 people left. Oh, and someone will have to volunteer to be a girl. I don't want my city to be a friggin' sausagefest.
