There used to be an awesome .gif on exactly this subject but I've failed to find it. The basic premise was: You are now downloading the internet (In classic IE5 download box) and it will take: 99 years.
Upload it, duh.

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
Mind boggling. Wonder how they store it all....max wrote:

It would take forever (and I mean forever, as in infinite years), unless you have a connection of 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000mb/s or something >.>

The internet consists of 5 million terabytes
If you use the US millitary at 9.8 GB pr second, you will download 846 720 GB, or 826.875 TB in one Day.
5 000 000 / 826.875 = approx 6046.9 Days of Dowloading
6046.9 / 365 = approx 16.5 years
If nothing is uploaded on teh interwebz ever again, the US millitary can DL it in about 16 and a half years
