i just think the design of bf2 is great. it has minor problems but other than thats its a pretty great game. EA got lucky at making everything so good.

Another case of EA getting lucky is when they made Command and Conquer: Zero Hour & Generals. They got it all right and made an excellent game.

ea luckz0rs. sadly there not always so lucky and then end up producing terrible games such as 2142

You both totally missed the vote. It wasnt about EA's best it was about the best battlefield. His opinion was That BF2 was the best ever. Thats an opinion just as your opinion is the sucky C&C games are best. My opinion that they sucked.

My vote (which is also opinion) BF2, BF1942, BF2142.

I think BF1942 was inherently the best game, but the mod community of BF2 has made it the best game.

I played 1942 on singleplayer, and it just seemed boring. And 2142 was pretty much a BF2 clone, but I like Bf2 better....

BF2, it just seems to be best and have "re-play"ability, like you don't mind coming back to it.

1942 was good, it worked well enough, but it's not BF2.

Let's not even being to discuss how angry BF2142 made me.

BF2 is my favorite as well. I still enjoy playing '42 from time to time but the lack of coherent team play makes it merely a boredom killer for me. I was excited about 2142, i pre-ordered it, installed it the day it came out but was really dissapointed with many aspects of it. I recently began to play it again to give it a fair chance so we'll see.
