My friend FUBMASTER does not have the Basic Knife Badge yet, but he has over 50 knife kills already. If he were to get 7 knife kills IAR, would he get just the Basic badge or would he be upgraded to the Vet.?
he would get both. . .like i did it will say

Doesn't this sometimes glitch to deny you the upgraded rank? I hope it doesnt do it every time, because I dont want to miss out on an upgraded rank.
No it does both. i did that same thing. i had 54 knife kills at the time. when i got the 7 kills both badges came up at the same time.
same if you have 100. . .and you get 18 kills. . youll get both bas/vet badges at 7. . and expert at 18, all in the same round. . .but if you dont have yoru basic knife already. . im guessing this wont happen less its an expert on a new account.

I'm pretty sure the time listed there is the time when the ranked server turned in that round's stats to the EA server (at the end of the round) because I certainly did not get them in the same minute... just in the same round.
