I do not nessecarily support this idea, I am just posting it so we can discuss it.
For how long now have there been attacks on soldiers in the middle east? for so long now soldiers doing their job have been dieing, killed by people who want to send a message, knowing that killing the enemies' soldiers in terror attacks will cause panic.
During WWII, in the Netherlands, every time the 'resistance' caused problems, the Nazi's rounded up random citizens and killed them/sent them off to camps. Of course, this is a very harsh example, but nonetheless it worked. If fighting for your country means killing your own comrades, would you still do it?
So, (and again, read the disclaimer at the top) what if we fight terror with terror: Tell them that for every suicide bombing/attack we will strike back: think of your own ideas here, but I do mean real retaliation, voilence or repression. Basically, fighting fire with fire. Every time they blow people up they will do more damage to themselves than to us.
would you use such tactics to stop terror, and if so how far would you go?
