Secondly, try and keep a count of the amount of times you /facepalm yourself, i lost count XD

Conversation soon after I applied to join a pub clan to try some Conquest matches with them, one member wanted to welcome me..

To me this just sort of highlights the fact that a good majority of people who consider themselves "pro" simply because they play organized matches are probably not any smarter/better than a decent pub player. There's no way someone that impossible to communicate with is better than me at BF2 in terms of contributing to a team. I think intelligence alone is half the battle in a game like BF2, and good reflexes is just icing on the cake. If you have both, regardless of whether or not you play competitively in organized games, aren't you probably good by any standard?

But back to topic at hand, that was an enjoyable read, in the "I can't believe he said that" sense.

Playing with and against "pro" players will make you better vs "pro" players, but not that much better at pub or against non "pro" players.

But no matter how much IQ and reflexes/aim a player has they won't just be able to jump in and out of competitive matches easily.

Also facepalm @ chatlogs, don't join that team they look retarded, even by pub team standards
