Ok, so i got one of the free beta keys and played around on it for about an hour.

I have not read much about 2142, so forgive my ignorance.

I understand the round ends when the Titan blows up, but have no idea how to get on that thing.  So, each time you take over a control point, it shoots a missle at the opposing team's titan to weaken it.  Then apparently you need to get on it and blow it up.
Can anyone lay out some steps or send me a link on how this Titan mode works?

Well not completely true.  It still takes longer for the helo to fall from grace than a missle to hit its target at a max range of about 450m, but I think you are right in that was another tactic to dumb down the soloist.

Well, I noticed this in SF (G-town), but it is probably the same on vanilla.

The speed of the TV missle has changed.  It is now a lot faster which makes it a lot more tricky to navigate due to having less time to hit your target.  Maybe this was the EA/DICE solution to make the helo soloists less effective, but I never heard about it in any of their change logs.

Just wondering if anyone else noticed a difference?

I've had this happen on Ghost Town before.  You have to leave the capping circle radius and re-enter it, then it will finish the capping job.

I've also seen zombies running around the map at times...scares the feck out of me...

The logitech's advantage is the use of the 18 "G keys" where you can set up macros.  There is a little display on the keyboard, but who is going to take their eyes off their monitor to look at a 4 inch screen.

Pol- I've tried a bit and never have gotten the single bomb mode to work with the bomber when I've tried that reload trick.  Although, my disclaimer is I usually am in the fighter because of its speed.

What i meant was: first bombing... drop, then switch fast.... if you do it fast and drop only one, you will be in single bombing mode... dont have to switch to do it next time.... as long as you drop the other one and rearm for 2 bombs.

Take note that this vid was created pre 1.3, so AA factors have changed, but the general tactics are worth noting.  GL in the skies.

With the 4th of July behind us, Independence Day in the US, I got to thinking about how many countries have their own Independence Day from Great Britain or the United Kingdom.

This world we live in would have a vastly different landscape, namely the UK would probably be THE superpower.
