the sir community, really???
i still love a good game of bf2. when the round ends with a score like 10-0 or 5-0, i just feel satisfied
bf2 sometimes likes to change your sound settings make sure that they are stet correctly and that voip is enabled
I have an eXactMat and I love it. I woulda gone for the bigger mantis but i needed something that had a hard center because my desk is small and thus it hangs off the edge.
I want to see what the official bf2s opinion on this is, just out of curiosity.
ya, i'm with youSplinterStrike wrote:

asus makes them well...
no, if you have one it should be disabled, otherwise you should plug into your sound card, if you have been pluging into your soundcard, make sure that your sound card is plugged in correctly and screwed in (with a screw into your case at the top of the pci slot. make sure your soundcard drives are installed.
well, if you have a sound card, that will generally disable it, and in that case you should be using that (as in, plug your audio into your soundcard). otherwise, it is generally a bios setting...
is onboard audio enabled?
stats is what makes it fun when you're playing with or against people you don't like, or when you get really good, its what keeps you focusedNakamp wrote:

if you look in the bottom right corner of htat pic you can see what it looks like, it looks like a watch battery. 2-5 mins outa the computer should allow a reset

pull the battery out of the bios, and leave it out for about 5 mins and then put it back in, this will effectively reset the bios correcting any voltage problems. (hopefully)DeathUnlimited wrote:

well, the solution i would suggest is a new mobo, but that may not fix your problem, you've really got me stumped on this one...SealXo wrote:

it may be that your voltage is not being divided properly and thus sending too much to the cpu, in essence overclocking it like nobody's business and making your computer run wayyy too hot. how did you get the old thermal paste off?
And the problem was before i even reapplied the paste
and the problem is from the old power supply
which worked fine for years
and now i have a new one i doubt they are both doing it
edit:thought:it could be a sensor that glitched in which case it would need replacing.

if the temp sensor isn't plugged in it can, some mother boards are picky, because they will crash you if you overheat, and to be able to do that you need to have temp sensors, so check that your cpu is correctly seated and all cords are plugged in. you could have knocked something out doing the thermal pasteSealXo wrote:

it might be something running at too high a temp or a sensor that isn't plugged in, check your cpu temp sensor on the heatsink
that was my next thing, fried board. they are pretty sensitive, i was taking my computer..baby...out of standby once and i managed to send a static shock between my finger and the power button and it killed the board...Freezer7Pro wrote:
Sounds like a blown capacitor. Being a P-D, which is a power-hungry beast that can put quite a lot of strain on them, you should check for any leakage. If any of them is leaking, you have to replace the motherboard. (A capacitor is one of thosetube things found all over on a motherboard)

could be that you have something in a pci slot that is not connected to power, such as my 7800gs...not to be wayy to specific in my example, but i had a similar problem when i switched out my first fried board
i've done it with a shotgun
