M16A3 is probably the best assault rifle in the game IMO. No real need for the for burst fire version given that the A3 is easy enough to use at just about any range accurately.

I'm quite butthurt that I spent probably 4+ hours playing those damn missions, however it was quite nice to have the G3A3 when nobody else did.

Calling that a nerf is an understatement, the thing looks completely useless now.

I use Reactive Armor and Thermal 100% of the time. I switch up the weapon slot depending on the situation. If I have a friend up in the CITV I'll be using Guided Shells, otherwise I switch it up between the two Coaxial guns. The LMG generally seems to work better, but the HMG sounds incredibly epic so I use it from time to time.

I pretty much only use it on Metro to put under the second set of escalators under the B flag just so I can keep running up from behind and killing the eight people who are sitting there staring at the first set of escalators.

^This exactly. If somebody spots a tank for me I can disable it at the very least 9 times out of 10. But when you are flying around up there and nothing is being spotting there isn't much you can do to ground forces.

Played a whole lot of BF2 back in the day, did a bunch sniping and basically only played 24/7 Karkand IO. I seem to recall getting a good bit of hate for all that nonsense. BF3 is great, definitely hooked. Can't get enough.

Jets are pretty cool. I wish I could lie and say that I am a beast with them, but I'm not. People bail out all too often and I sometimes find myself finishing rounds 0-0 with like 15 disables. No biggie though, I still greatly enjoy myself. Can't wait for some BF3 Wake Island fun times!

Kinda cool video. The song was pretty terrible though. Also, the drummer sucked ass. He played basically the same thing, and just didn't seem to get into it. I'm not positive, but I think the guitarist was playing on a PRS, and PRS guitars are the shit.

Jazz is just as good as ever nowadays, maybe better than back in the day when it was the most popular type of music.

I'm always glad to see other players getting into dragshots. You should start using jump/landing shots, as I find them to be far more effective than dragshots.

I do love the acoustic guitar, but not near as much as the electric. When it comes to acoustic, it doesn't get much better than Tommy Emmanuel. I also really liked that Dufour guy, that song was pretty amazing.

I'm not sure how well known these guys are, but I was just introduced to them recently and thought I would share them with you guys. James and Sfogli are both play with amazing dexterity and have very individual styles. Bonamassa is a very blues oriented guy, and I have yet to find anybody that can lay down some nasty blues like he does. He also can sing some blues pretty well too.

While I do agree that this is true, this is also the same as saying that a medic is meant to stay out of combat and heal injured and revive fallen teammates. The only classes that I generally see that follow their true role would be the assault and engineer class. Most players who play support class play for infinite nades, and generally don't think or care to supply teammates. Sometimes it can be near impossible to find ammo or health, and I doubt any medic or support class would come and find you, and give you what you need, when it is their role in reality.

Fixed that for you. I did a study the other day when I got bored, and over the period of a few rounds, I took note of some of the things I encountered.
Snipers that dropped a grenade when I came near them - 19.
Dropped a clay - 24
Switched to knife - 3
Switched to pistol - 5
Tried to hit me with the rifle - 0

So in conclusion, nearly every sniper you come past is useless, but there is that top 1% that can make all the difference in a round. There are only a few situations where I see the worth in a good sniper. For example, a good SVD sniper at Jalalabad can keep the entire USMC team from getting out of the uncap keeping them from capping a flag and resulting in a win for MEC.

I've seen a few Apache videos and people never seem to see it, it must have some expansive ass optics onboard.

Well, the 30mm cannon on the Apache can hit targets and just under a mile away, and the optics are incredible, so there is no doubt they and anybody around knew that they were being watched.

I'm allergic to penicillin, and it sure does blow to be allergic to the "cure all" pill to the point that it could cause me death. I have some sort of ear infection right now, and I always have to get "alternatives" to penicillin (zithromyacin right now), and they give me the shits real bad. Better than dying though. Anybody else share this inconvenient allergy?

First thing I checked, and everything looked fine. The internet is running just as fast as ever.

So I can't play battlefield 2 anymore, and that is slightly upsetting. This morning I was playing just as I normally would, and every once in awhile my ping would spike and jump to around 300 for a few seconds, but then drop back down to 30-40 and it would be fine. I thought nothing of it. Well, I stopped playing for a few hours, come back, turn it on, and no matter what server I go to my ping is insanely high. Like, in the 500-700 range, and I can't even play. Nothing on my computer has changed, I didn't add or take anything off of it, and I just can't figure out what is going on. Any thoughts on what might cause that?
