badges: expert support specialist and expert explosives ordinance
edit: just got expert support specialist, now aiming for expert command, but it still takes 5k points

hm i am german and have never heard any of these jokes.. they are definitely not "typical german" (stupid criteria concerning jokes, btw)
nyte should write some kind of "bf2 tricks bible"
i have a déjà-vue please stop making such senseless topics
can you at least post the nick so we can check the stats?
omg it's just a stupid game account you're all begging for... why do you want a rank, points and awards you didn't even earn by yourself?
and the commander argument, well, i'm only a first sergeant, but it's not impossible to be a commander, i would rather say there are enough opportunities to play as a commander

must be kinda hard for that person, but i guess there was a reason for the reset
hm support is my favorite kit at the moment, and i have to say that the pkm is still accurate enough to kill someone over a medium range if you know how to use it properly
if anyone really followed the instructions he should be executed right away at least his pc should be taken away
there should be some kind of age verification system on this forum...
you can try ghost town with all the snipers around, but avoid ladders by playing assault / at with the grappling hook.. i got my vet knife badge there, basic was on a karkand server

i recently discovered an interesting article on a german bf site:
http://bf-games.net/index.php?action=re … ewsid=5539
for those of you who are not familiar with the german language, it says something about the delay of the 1.4 patch and a new map which might be Market Garden 2006 or Gazala.
however, they underline that the information about a new map is from a wikipedia entry which has been deleted, thus it might be wrong and only a rumor.
in my opinion, a revival of market garden would be very nice, i hope it will be a part of the patch.

teamkills are included in the teamwork score, thus they won't make the difference
very true... that amount of time spent on bf2 per day is absolutely sick...{BMF}*Frank_The_Tank wrote:
FireStorm: I play almost every day. During my down time I average 7-12 hours a day and a few 20-27 hour via lan games. My normal play is around 4-6 hours per day.

but i wonder why the interviewed someone they accused of something worth reseting his stats, at least for a while ^^
i would have chosen someone who is a general (snofru for example) and who doesn't spend that much time playing commander oO
ahaha n1 i like it... i think a bit of humor and irony are things that are sometimes missing in this forum, nice post ^^

trigger you should get an award for this post this had to be said, since bf2 is a great game even with the bugs etc... (show me a pc game without bugs... difficult, huh?)
we got a great game for our 50 euros / dollars / whatever, and the huge mass of people playing it is a good proof that it isn't as bad as some people always claim...
and the sentence about the condoms ... n1

i like to use the sniper kit which has only two claymores, but on a full 64 players server there are 32 enemies dice should give the sniper class 30 more claymores to take care of every hostile soldier...
</IRONY>
there is something called "balancing".. maybe that's why the spec op only got 5 pieces of c4

has anyone noticed that as USMC the spec ops class and the medic class are NEVER African American??? Is Dice trying to say that African American citizens are not up to the task of filling these roles on the battlefield? Discuss.
i don't think there is a "best" sniping place, only some very good spots ... remember the old sniper saying: location, location, location ? if you're lying at such a good spot and you snipe maybe 10 people they will start to play sniper and search for you, and finally they will kill you until you leave this place and change your location periodically...
it's a bug, just add up his combat, teamwork and commander scores, that's about 33000 points
buy special forces, start it, log in to bfhq -> there will be a message where you can select your new unlocks
if it's right next to the trailer it will blow too (in most cases the blast radius is large enough to destroy the crate)
As we all know, there isn't a badge for hand grenades at all. i think this is just unfair since even the gadgets from sf got their own badges and the grenades would deserve one.
i think a total new badge for bf2 is very unlikely, but they could count grenade kills as explosives kills which would also mean that grenades count towards the explosives ordinance badges.
any opinions on that?

he only needs the badges for getting first sergeant... this rank is the advanced version of master sergeant. if you don't have the badges, you get master sergeant, otherwise you will be first sergeant...
this so called "special commentary" is very true regarding that awards and points don't count in real life, but i would be a bit more careful in case of accusing someone of hacking unless you have some evidence...
but this commentary is not special since there are thousands of similar posts on this forum. OK, it's everybody's right to share his opinion, but announcing it as a "must read" is ridiculous...
these threads have been existing since blazin.uk was number 1 with about 200k points, now it's the same with volx, always the same arguments, you just have to exchange the nicks... very boring

i have seen this several times... 4660:20:15 is the "magic" number, you can find it on various profiles as amount of time spent in a certain category... just look at the top accounts in the "hours per days" ranking
owning Argentina was pretty nice now Italy and perhaps Brazil will face their defeat
nice one
playing this game for 2500 hours doesn't make one invincible, so who fucking cares whether firestorm was killed by shock paddles?
some kind of ironic.. playing war games when you are at war
india != iraq
lol i thought pretty much the same77th|Christensen wrote:

well they have new ranks and different stats, you won't keep your bf2 stats... would be quite unfair and not very logical...
well depends on what you have practiced... normally, i don't use choppers that much because on most maps there are maybe 6 people looking for the same chopper and i leave flying it to the "pros".Reciprocity wrote:
i'll give almost anyone one chance, I'll line them up perfectly for a tank or apc, if they miss, they're useless. most miss. forget about other choppers, most of the retards cant even kill an apc. but for some reason, EVERYONE thinks they belong in the gunner seat. the most obnoxious assholes are the guys who jump in the empty chopper and then switch to the gunner's seat, waiting for some pilot to come along. Fuck you buddy, if you can't fly, you can't gun.
but one of my buddies is a quite skilled pilot, and when we play together and get the chopper, i usually get the gunner seat. i am not the best gunner on earth or whatever, but i do have my moments
and being a decent gunner does not mean that you have to be a good pilot, even if you can fly a chopper you still need to practice with the tv missiles etc.
if there are better gunners interested in the chopper, let them go for it, but it would be a waste to leave it empty...
well the pkm is still quite accurate and my weapon of choice... it has a lot of power and you never have to worry about running out of ammo ^^
well it's just about politics: there are many scared people out there crying for a solution for a problem which cannot be solved... war and terror have been existing since the beginning of human living, and there is no way to change this fact. (at least not in a short period)
but politicians need to be reelected, thus they have to find something they can abolish and present their actions as real solutions for this problem.
and with the war on terror going on, it's much easier to blame bf2 than to stop terrorism.
the same happened here in germany when some kids "went aggro" and killed teachers and other pupils in their schools, suddenly politicians announced that all of them were playing "killer games" like cs or bf2, and everybody blamed the computer games.
blaming wrong education or social problems makes politicians unpopular because nobody wants to hear that he/she educated his/her children the wrong way, but blaming such games is easier than finding real solutions and there are always worrying parents who believe this shit...

but flying alone in a chopper sucks.. i once played with some guy who insisted on flying alone and tked me when i entered the chopper as a gunner...
even if you are quite skilled, one person in an attack chopper cannot replace a decent gunner, this is really egoistic because two people with a certain amount of skill are much more powerful and thus more worth for a team's effort

i think there's nothing to add... just practice, try some alternatives to being a helo gunner und keep on learning english grammarDe_Jappe wrote:
Why don't you all leave him alone. He is looking for a clan and maybe he is 12, it seems at moments he is more mature than some of you.
It is hard to write proper english if it isn't your first language. When you are 12, you probably haven't had the course at school yet. (at least not in belgium, don't know in sweden)
Snoopy try to make your posts structured and use punctuation. That will improve things.
I think your best shot here is a little clan who plays for fun. You are not good enough yet to play in big clans. Practice is the key here and try to master the game in all aspects (or at least some more). Only a heli-gunner is not enough to impress people. Often there will be 6 people at the only chopper in the game, if you can't get in the gunner position, you'll have to do something else.
If you improve, you will have more chance, maybe try a swedish clan as that would be easier for you to understand. (Or maybe gang up with a couple of your friends if they play the game too).
Most important thing here is to have fun. If you prove yourself a good teamplayer in the game, you will have a chance of joining a clan.
Happy fighting and good luck with your search! And remember, if you practice you will become better and the better you are, the more clans will want you.
grammatik (according to http://lexikon.nada.kth.se/)
"i want to be heligunner" ... lol ... honestly, i think you won't get into any serious clan. there are a lot of skilled gunners around, and besides, being gunner with a good pilot is not that difficult ...
i would choose the pkm... very powerful, still quite accurate and you never run out of ammo
