first day of snow so far, so that was quite pleasant ^^
long story short I forgot last night that I had only water in the radiator of my truck, an '82 Grumman Olson Kurbmaster. Omg. I knew there was a small hole in the rad from the 1 time I drove it ever, a 4 hour drive home from where I bought it, so that's why I didn't bother putting coolant in it yet. I opened the rad cap and it was just a FROZEN chunk of ice inside my rad. OMGOMG. I plugged it in and chewed my nails for like 8 hours. I have wanted one of these trucks for AGES and to get one finally with a mint body, chevy 350 running 100% propane it's such a blessing, the whole time I was just freaking out that I cracked the block. I even put some light bulbs under the engine compartment with the hopes that some of the heat would move towards the engine, I think that was the biggest waste of time but it probably didn't hurt.
Yeah, it started up, vroom, loves it. Such a relief. I hate you, winter. Tonight I'll see if I can thaw out the rad hoses. They were just solid ice yesterday, this morning they felt a bit slushy. It's not like a car where I can just push it into a warm area, friggin' thing is like 8 feet tall.
effin' COLD! like -13C / 9 F, but it was twice as cold yesterday.
that's an interesting approach for a website lol, a bit pointless, no?
