no, it is not impossible, it is just really harderLongbow wrote:
pr is ok when you play with cool guys . In vanilla you may do yourself , in pr it is impossible .
well if you consider healing kits that restore health in a few seconds, and shockpaddles that revive after a lot of punishment, really realistic .....henno13 wrote:
NOTHING is more realistic than PR (well real life is excluded)
did you download and install ABR client fromsdlettonieCZLV wrote:
wtf? Infinity, you have a corporal though you have a 1000 less points than me!!! nah, unfair
AFIK it is freeVicktorVauhn wrote:
That Americas Army is free huh? Is it pretty good?

ahhhh so that is how it is done. very smart. can we see our stats online like we can with BF2 ?
1.have ABR client running before you start PRtheDude5B wrote:
I dont get how the ranks work on PR?
The first day I played it with NooBesT, I had a higher rank than him, then the next day I am private again.
so true, but you can play PR and have fun even while running around without cover.....sometimesVicktorVauhn wrote:
yeah but so many people just run around in vBF2...these people usually take a while to learn to advance under cover, and until they do they are simply target practice.
i used to play america's army before BF2 so it is not a shock for me, but i got dumbed down while playing BF2 so i had to remind myself not to look for the red tag in PRVicktorVauhn wrote:
Plus the huge floating red sign usually shows people where to shoot so they don't worry about uniform.
it happend to me too, but i died quite a bit more when the said parachute did not open in BF2VicktorVauhn wrote:
That combined with added mistakes like hopping off a roof expecting a parachute, hopping out of cars only to die, having to get healed after being revived...
i had most trouble with finding doors on the vehicle models, they should be more pronounced somehow....VicktorVauhn wrote:
Then having to learn all the little idiosyncrasies of things like vehicle entrance, the kit systems, Officers and rally points, vehicle warm ups......
why do you people say that the game is hard?<SS>SonderKommando wrote:
You will enjoy it. Don't be afraid of the learning curve. You will get the snot beat out of you at first.

Throw smoke granade, it will make him lag like hell so he can't do anything. Then go and shoot him. Easy.
no....this would be all wrongLeonnoe1 wrote:
PR stats are tracked by the specific server you are playing on at that time. They are not globally linked to my knowledge. Going to another server you will not be able to use those same "stats". Your best bet would be to contact the server host and ask them where they send their stats to, or where you can view them. Chances are, they are just using ABR as a way to give you rewards for playing on their servers.
i don't really understand the ranking well also, but i read somewhere that u have to have ABR client installed and running to keep ranks between games not that they matter at all, but still...sdlettonieCZLV wrote:
EDIT: we just choose some random servers... I don't really understand the ranking system, but I got promoted 3 times to corporal and some 11x to Private First Class and col64 got his PvtFstClass promotion too yesterday
i had it working once....and as i used it only once => 100% success ratebmb|danCer wrote:

They say it's possible with BF2, but it didn't work for me.
I like to get proofed otherwise.
