If you play a lot of Engineer, the extra clip is a godsend. Having 4 mags instead of 3 will save your ass, especially since you usually use half of a mag to kill someone..zeidmaan wrote:

You guys know that maps like Fu She Pass can last well over 33 minutes with a full 64 person server right? Maybe if you stopped playing on just 24/7 Karkand servers you'd know this.
Overcoming the initial newb-ness is always an accomplishment. Good work!
sadly, I'm right on the cusp of 10,000 deaths, and this makes me sad.

1) just run the normal BF2 and you should be able to find a server playing the AF maps.
2) Yes you can play single player AF.
2) Yes you can play single player AF.
Mine used to be pretty close, but then I started killing more people.
I like your Vehicle-lite idea, but I'd keep the Scout Helicopters.
I have a Logitech Attack 3. Honestly, if you're just going to play BF2 wih it, don't waste your money on a fancy joystick. Any cheap joystick that isn't going to fall apart will work just fine.
I find it much easier to fly with a joystick than trying to use the keyboard and mouse. It's much more intuitive if you've ever used a flight sim before.

wake islad, airfield, let USMC get beach, watch out for snipers.
I was just asking because the user management isn't the same in Home and Pro. I know admin level is the default but obviously, he's not an admin so I would like to know what he's using so I can help.
I agree. All of the guns have their place. The G36E is a good all around gun, but sometimes a full auto gun is better. The AK's are great for short-to-medium ranges, and I'll generally use them on Karkand and Sharqi. The M-16 is about the same as the G36E, although a bit less accurate and such. The L85A1 is a good replacement for the M-16 as well as being used on maps where you're more likely to engage the enemy at medium-to-long range. The scope on it really helps place the anti-sniper shots.Slickfish wrote:
I love the L85A1, however if you fire in bursts of more than 2 rounds you have no hope.
At distance it rocks, like all the weapons if you learn to use its strong points you'll come to love it like every other weapon on the game.
oh god not this "M95 should kill in one hit" bullshit. one-hit kills are not fun. just stop asking for it. it's a bad idea.
and the OP must not be a very good sniper if he can't get more than 5 kills in a round. for me, sniping is all about finding the best spot to offer the best targets without being spotted. This means avoiding going to places where you consistently find enemy snipers. If it's a well know sniper spot, you're more likely to get nailed. also, using your claymores in a smart way helps too.

Considering I'll never do anything to get my stats wiped I'm not worried.
However, if they were I'd just keep playing. BF2 is just too much fun to let a little thing like stats make me quit.

what? I have an attack 3 and it works like a joystick should. I think you've just got yours mapped wrong. Go to the controls and remap the joystick for the aircraft.
It's funny to do if they're assholes or total n00bs. I've gotten myself killed not a few times while tea-bagging the fallen enemy.
Home or Pro?
Everything except Euro Force.
I had a guy spawn in my tank with the red name bug. It even had a red square in the gunner's position.
well, CS:S does do some client-side prediction, but all hit detection is done server side to protect against cheating.
and yeah, all the BF2 cheat videos I've seen suck hard. you have to suck really bad for a BF2 hack to improve your score.

Giving the AT class a carbine or rifle would unbalance the game. Think about it, to make it fair you'd have to give the medic class an anti-tank capability.
The AT class has rockets. The Medics get rifles. Why do you think they're different classes?
Maybe if an AT and a medic working together something would get done.

wow you got banned
Love the music, but if that's what hacks do for you I think I can do better with something called skill. I mean, he took a whole clip to kill the guy that was just across the road from him. lol so sad...
Haha, go ahead and whine about the rules, because you're EA's bitch! If the ROE bugs you that much stop playing because the ROE is there for a reason.

Also, A USP and a Glock 17 or 19 would be nice.
desert eagle is actually a bad gun. It's too big to use effectively. I have big hands and it's almost too big for me.

The best reason to use the MG36 is that you can fire for a really long time before it overheats, and it reloads pretty fast. I generally prefer the PKM because you can do more damage, but the MG36 is better in a lot of cases. I almost never use the default LMGs anymore.
I agree with you. Quite frankly, I love FuShe Pass and Dragon Valley a lot, but there aren't a lot of servers that play them. We need more PLA love dudes!Wraith wrote:
Personally I can't see the point of playing just one map over and over all the time. My opinion is that I bought a game with several maps, so that I can play the different maps and get different experiences. I also hate Wake (I don't do so well in the jets ).
But... it's your game. You paid for it, you play it for enjoyment, so play it the way that you enjoy the most. Don't worry about whether other people are judging you fr it.

Yeah you can play as sniper if you know you can rely on having access to vehicles, but even so I don't recommend it. I get a lot more points playing as Anti-Tank. In fact, AT players are absolutely vital to winning on AF maps. The anti-tank guy can capture and defend flags really well against any kind of enemy (except the jets and helicopters of course). What's better is if you have 3 or more AT's in the area, the tanks and apc's get torn apart with rockets coming from every direction. Also, if you're an Anti-Tank and you get into armor you can just use it to take some shots at the enemy armor and when it's about to blow up bail out and hit them with a few rockets.
this is my suggestion. You'll be killing a lot of infantry until they get smart and snipe you out. generally though you can get a lot of guys this way.{CN}420 wrote:
Wake Island 64 man, go on PLA. Wait for them to take the beach and attack the airfeild. Jump in one of the two tower MGs. Be a medic, drop packs and jump on it. You will get sniped. Don't forget to duck.

$50 / total hours played.
for example, I've played a total of 262.22667 hours. $50 / 262.22667 hours = $0.19067 per hour

I'd also like to point out this poll is probably invalid since everyone probably didn't use the number that's in the stats., heck I know I normally get more than 26 points in a round these days, but there are a lot of times when you join a round at the end or you're not on a map the generates huge amounts of points (i.e.: Zatar Wetlands, Daqing Oilfields).

^ exactly what I was thinking. that would be pretty pointless IMO. Just compare the number you have, there's no need to add in a dumb medal for it.Gawwad wrote:

DId you ever consider the guy just wanted an easy knife kill and once you misinterpreted this as a challange to a knife fight and got out your knife, he thought "Oh geez, he saw me but this sucker pulled out his knife! I'll just kill him now."
It will run, but don't expect to be able to turn on many options on it. I play on my dell which has a MR 9600 Pro Turbo, and I get playable frame rates at 1024x768, low textures.
I'd play a lot more PLA, but I like to play on 64 player servers, and there are too many servers that don't put PLA maps in the rotation. It's all this Karkand/Mashtuur/Sharqi rotation. It seems every online game ends up with 1 or 2 maps that just dominate the play time (dust/dust2, lol). Also, I generally hate Wake Island, and I avoid the 24/7 Wake servers which constitute a large majority of the servers that run PLA maps.
FuShe pass FTW!

I think EA does some pretty dumb things but I don't mind it too much because I love BF2 so much. It will take some serious fuck-ups for me to stop playing this game.

oh yeah -1 some more for not liking the blackhawk! -1 me like the karma actually means jack shit!
I've told thiss story before, but once on Wake Island as PLA, my squad was waiting for the transport helicopter to respawn and some random guy came over and joined our group of people. I got really bored so I took out my smoke grenade and threw it at his face at point blank range, because I mean at most it should just injure the guy a bit kind of like in Counter-Strike: Source I thought. I laughed so hard when the guy just keeled over. Insta-killed by a smoke to the face, lol.
A) No, the original Blackhawk was rediculously unbalanced.
B) Your poll is messed up.

all I can say is lol.Yesterday 00:21:36 -1 DAO-12 or Jackhammer!?! u type a lot. u have to much time on ur hands. (tgust5)

It's points earned by your team divided by the number of players on the team alive at that time.

I suggest getting the DAO-12, but that is because I feel the SMG's are too weak and inaccurate. While the DAO-12 and the Jackhammer are not very different, the Jackhammer is more similar to the default weapons. By getting the DAO-12 you give the AT kit a much different weapon, and one that performs very well in close combat. Also, while you can reload the DAO-12 one shot at a time, you can't fire until it is fully loaded so you have to wait for all twelve shells to load. Still, it's nice because you can top off it you've only fired 4 rounds and you don't lose ammo by reloading half-full clips. The Jackhammer is nice to have, especially if you find the pump shotguns too difficult to use. The main caveat with it is the recoil. Shooting it at full auto is incredibly pointless unless the enemy is less than about 20 ft from you. I tend to use the Jackhammer much like the DAO-12 because of this.
lol this is more important than being a medic...tHe sw3De wrote:

I've had a glitch where it would have to reload twice, but it never happens when tanks are around so I don't care.
