In the OP I should of stated that in order for a new Bill of Rights the UK would have to leave the European Courts etc: And to the other posts it would  help us to maintian and better relantionship with the "guys across the pond" as we all know that ties between UK and USA are "Special". On those 2 statements it would be very difficult to actually do as I believe it has only be done in the UK (England) on 3 occasions: The Magna Carta, The Bill of Acts Right (1950) and The Human Rights Act (1990's, can't remeber when of the top of my head! 93 I think........) so on a timescale it's probadly not the best time to do it.
On leaving the European Union I can't see it making that much difference in the UK and actually think that it would be a good idea for mainly dim-witted views! I mean that we don't have the Euro, so we wouldn't have to adopt a new currency, the majority of law's, acts of parliment tend to be pointless and ignored as you can always go to the European Courts to get the UK's decision overturned.

Thought I'd ask on here whether you think that the UK should create a new "Bill of Rights Act"? At the moment it is an outdated act that governs what human rights people have within the UK. As it only applies to the UK you would think that we (The people, politicians, soverienty) have the say on what goes into the bill, which we do? Well its actually Europe (Strasburg) that has the be all and end all. Recently in the UK the goverment wanted to ban prisoners from having the right to vote. This was overturned in the European Court as a breach of human rights.

Just thought I'd drop by and say that Rogue Six has now got a BFBC2 Server up and running. The usual suspects are there so if you remember us from the Battlefield 2 days then you'll now its a good server. Thanks guys (So far, I'll wait to see what other people say) for your input, what your basically saying is that the hardware isn't particulary worth anything but my time is? Which I completly understand as many people have said that to me and I agree in essence, but I have a gullable friend that doesn't know that much and never will! Sorry worse case scenario! I don't mean to rip him off at all but would like to make a bit of money TBH, I have said that if he buys me a baggy then he can have the PC, but he is making an effort and working out how he can make it aesthitically better (Spelt wrong!) So my concern is about £20 - £30 pounds, is this too much?

Right, to explain:

I have a friend that currently is playing VIETNAM on a laptop, its an ACER P.O.C! (Work out Hyphernyms) So he thought that he'd better get a desktop to play games with (Obviously), I have an old PC doing BOINC work pour moi, so it is a secondary PC to say the least. I know that it is well capable of doing everything that he needs, what I am asking is "How much should I sell it for?"

Run-down on what I will sell:

Gigabyte GA-M61VME-S1
BFG - Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS (OC)
2Gb Corsair Memory

No hard drive as he will give me that as a given, will also install (Potentially) Windows 7 but I would prefer to do XP. I have to do the construction and installation work. Everything else going onto to the PC is already here per se. Looking on eBay Mo'Fo's I am looking at about £40 for the seperate parts, but as it is a friend how do you guys think I should charge? ATM I have said a 25 bag Any help or criticism would be greatly appreciated, I will "Karma" people appropiatley
Oh and yeah I will give the above away if people will pay postage!

Nope, but from the looks of it they have gain controls on the mixers, so in effect you can turn the gain down on Bass on 1 deck, leaving just the trebel and have the beat, bass from the other deck by turning gain down on the bass/low frequency. hence you get your own mix, sample of 2 records playing at once, rinse then repeat! As for mixing other people tracks its the same principle really, say for instance you liked the chorus of 1 song but it didn't last long enough for what you wanted you could mix the same track on 2 decks and extend the chorus further (same for beats etc:) basically its a nice showy way of sampling live Having 4 decks for instance I could play 2 of the same track on 2 decks (extending the parts I wanted) then mix into that on the 3rd deck, followed by mixing in from the 4th deck (or extending deck 3 with deck 4) during this though I could easily have another 2 mixes going on decks 1 and 2 and 3 depending on what the overall achievement would be. For ease you could simply mix a set by going deck 1 mixing in deck 2 mixing deck 3 mixing deck 4 then deck 1 again and so on, easy to do if you can mix, just means that you don't have to rush around taking records on/off platters (but kind of lazy as you have the ability to mix further on the unused decks) ie:

1 song on deck 1 and 1 song on deck 2 would leave decks 3-4 free to add samples or even mix into decks 1 and 2, hard to do though as you only have 2 hands! Hence 2 people mixing at once! On a side note though, having done this in the past its easier to have 5 channels - 4 decks and 1 for a click track then you line everything up with the click track and all beats should be in time. Blimey this brings back memories of Shelley's and a few other clubs I played Oh those where the days

Basically what you'd be doing is writing the track live as you played it? Does that make sense? Each deck for instance would play a particular loop ie:

Deck 1 = Bass, Beats
Deck 2 = Strings, Vox etc
Deck 3 = A mixture of above, but most likely the next beat in the mix
Deck 4 = Same as above really
The keys would give you the bonus of being able to put your own riffs over the top of the decks. Its a form of sampling that can be done live. I have done 4 deck mixing in the past but its very hard for 1 person to do it, as you ideally need 4 arms to keep everything in shape! Having 2 people is just like having 2 DJs mixing in 1 set for instance. 1st person does decks 1 and 2 then 2nd person does decks 3 and 4 if you where doing a rolling mix, but you could quit easily have all 4 decks at once with the afore mentioned usage. I remember when the Cox did a 14 deck set, but all he simply did was mix from 1 deck to the next! If you need audio examples just look for Grandmaster Flash as he was 1 of the originators of this style of mixing

Personally I wouldn't be talking about a gang of people as it is really unnescary (dam no spell check!) Just other a lawn service that you can do over a couple of days for instance. I mean to add to my last post, you'll have yearly work that if you do well at then you attract more work in the end, thats how I became a Tree Surgeon! Started off doing lawns for people, then people saw my work and asked me to do hedges and as you can work out it esculated from there There's no legal requirement for lawn carers to work in pairs as the injury risk is very low, so its better to run by yourself. Do it but remeber that it is only really a secondary income to be honest, currently I cut trees during the week and then if I need extra cash I will look at doing lawn/garden work at the weekends I hope I have been of some use?

Just a suggestion But what I would do is go towards lawn care, offer people the service of not only maitaining there gardens but improve them also, for instance, offer to mow lawns, fertilize 'em, rake them etc and so on. That way it will take you longer to do the work, say half a day to propely treat, rake and mow, water said lawns, you can charge a little more for the service, but you gain a yearly contract?

I have some old amps hanging around in the loft also, some valve other newer, headphones like there going out of fashion! Can't think of anything else at the moment, but there is more if I bothered to look! Oh yeah a D.A.T (Sony thing), MORG keyboard. Did have a Tascam 24 Reel-2-Reel but thats in the studio now. And low and behold a computer!

If you raise fee's in universities you'll create a situation where only the rich will be able to afford education and the poor will not! Not good in my eyes as everyone is or should be entitled to an education if they so choose. Yes uni's are fooked at the moment but so is everyone else, it seems as if it is easier to cut money from the things that the U.K holds dear, NHS, School/Educational Establishments than for the government to admit that they have done a lot wrong recently. I mean come on look at all the people in the civil service, it takes 5 people to do 1 job at the moment, due to health and safety concerns and so fourth. Its a farce to be honest People need to work harder and bring more productivity to the UK in general, but I speak for few of us out here that do work hard.

True, I brought the Complete Collection ages ago, the 1 where you got BF2, SF, EF and AF all on 1 DVD then they brought out 1.5 and gave the 2 extra's away for nothing, my first thought "Those Mutha F*ckers". A load of people I know thought that SF was ace and tended to just play that and not "Vanilla" then BF2142 came out and they gave up on BF2 completely!

I mean that it has been used and taught in English schools for many years but there is no clear definition of how and when an apostrophe should be used. Some people use an apostrophe as an abbreviation:

Don't = Do not

As mentioned: You're = You are

I have scruggled with the use of apostrophes for years, as it has never been define and I believe that it is slowly being phased out. It makes people lazy to be honest I mean if you can not be bothered to write "You Are" then cheat and write "You're".

Yeah I'd have to say Virtual DJ tbh, it seems the most intuitive to me. But alas I would still try my hardest to get hold of the Vinyl and mix with that, much nicer feeling having something solid under your hand Pro's and Con's to the whole mixing thing, Digital media versus Analogue.
