These fans, can't say anything about them.,TheEternalPessimist wrote:
Let me know what those fans are like, noise/air flow wise, looking at the numbers they're pretty good fans and I could do with something quieter than these Antec TriCool fans._NL_Lt.EngineerFox wrote:

Aiming for 4.0 but higher than 3.5 is fine.
I'll leave the sidepanel for what it is then, the pic makes me smile though, the tips won't touch my NB heatsink. But If I want to use the 120, I will have to mount it horizontal with only a top fan and 1 fan on the HR-GT, or 2 fans on the 120 and no fan on the HR-GT, what is wise?
Yeh oke, that joke is old, back to the problem at hand.
This thread makes me smile but I feel sorry for you, have a krama.
I found this pic and it worries be big time since this was how I wanted it to be installed.

That's just with passive and Turbo module. Two 80mm fans =/= 120mm fan. An Accelero with a 120mm fan will easily kick the HR-03's butt.TheEternalPessimist wrote:
It might be good for SLi but it's not beating the HR-03 by any means.

But I still have a problem with mounting the 120 with a fan and the top HR-03 GT
, good list + 1 for that.
They would take longer than 20 days to order.
I found a problem but I made a drawing so everyone can understand.Sup wrote:

That aint got a hope in hell of fitting, it's iffy whether it'd fit with no side fans
I can mount a 120mm fan on top yes + 1 in the back + 1 in the front, fans will go vertically.
It doesn't, it takes 5cm from panel to fan.

It doesn't, 900 is the narrowest case it'll go in lol.Sup wrote:

Hmm, fucking liars @ hwi. The height of the 120 is 16.5. I measured from my CPU to my sidepanel and I have about 2cm left :woaw:

That's about 3mm clearance from the window to the pipe tips BTW.
Sorry for the bad image, how much wider is the stacker compared to the 900?

From CPU to Sidepanel, 20cm
It doesn't
But when I get the 120, I won't be able to put my fan panel in , on a brighter side, it saves me money from 4 fans.

I changed the list with them, the differene is 15,00 but If you say it has a good difference in cooling with the Rev. A, I will get the GT no doubt.Sydney wrote:

Unless you're back mounting those HR-03s you wont be getting any fans on them, not with SLi.
And 8 120 mm fans? WAT!
two for TRUE120
one for each HR-03
4 for case?
Btw, make SURE you get the HR-03 GT, not HR-03 or HR-03 Plus
GT is for G92, Plus is for G80 and HR-03 is...dunno.

With the cooler removed, I have about 2 1/2 slot left + I can take the mesh out.
The top card will get the block and fan above, the lower one will get the block and fan downwards.
After much debate, I have chosen not to go with watercooling. It would be too expensive and too much maintenance. Also, I'm not gonna upgrade this rig with Nehalem and 48xx, DDR3 etc but build a new one when the time comes.
My setup looks like this:
Now, The main problem I thought that I was gonna have is getting 2 decent coolers in SLI but after some measurements, the Thermalright HR-03 and a 120mm fan is gonna work out smooth. In addition, I'm buying 4 extra 120mm fans for my sidepanel (Stacker 831)
This is what I'm getting, anyone got any advice before I click 'Order'?

Wouldnt upgrade anything t'ill Nehalem and 48xx and GTX200, then again, upgrading is different from replacing.
