the greatest j-10 kill ever would be a kill with a grenade, exploded in midair as it flew over to rearm.
that would be something.
-Look at your map constantly, if an enemy bails out of a vehicle, a grey vehicle icon appears as soon as he does. This applies to you too, blow up your car if you want to remain stealthy.
-Always spot enemies.

ill try punkbuster, though i doubt thats what it is because i can create a local server.

I have absolutely nothing running, i ever closed ventrilo, nothing works..
I still can't join any server without it kicking me to the server selection screen with no message... are there any fixes at all... making local servers doesn't help, I've sat here for 10 minutes straight clicking on servers with nothing. Serious Bullshit. I don't think they bothered testing this before hand, they just typed up some code in notepad, compiled it, and released it.
Make it so i can actually join a server without getting pushed to the server select screen...
I am starting the fail thread now... so far, i download waiting in anticipation for an hour, finally done, join the server, load forever to optimize shaders, and kicked back to the server select screen, try again, fail, try again, fail try ag... so i waited an hour for no reason! yay!
so begin the glitch/bug/fail posts

I got the same damn thing on every mapScratch[USA] wrote:

That was good! wheres episode 2 i wana see those Russian jets
The server i recorded all those shots on, =DoM=, had me at 10-18 ping as wellcovenant wrote:
i find that, rather obviously, the lower the ping the quicker your tv missile reacts to how many times your clicking, i get - 5 ping on all uk servers and i find that the tv missile is so much more reactive to where i want it to go, than say if i had 40 ping.Sydney wrote:
I don't get it.
It's not too hard to hit planes from the rear, as long as they don't do a hard turn, but hitting them head on? I have tried that over 9000 times but I can only remember hitting ONE plane in the front, an F35.
You also seem to be able to turn the missile faster than I can, are you using a multi-clicking macro or something? My missile seems unable to turn as fast as I can click.
Awesome skills, kudos to you.
nice jet shots, chopper shots were less so.
No man, no macro...
all clicking
all clicking

Black Mesa (formerly Black Mesa: Source) is a Half-Life 2 total conversion remaking VALVe Software's award-winning PC game, Half-Life. Utilizing the Source engine, Black Mesa will reintroduce the player as Doctor Gordon Freeman, along with the original cast of memorable characters and environments seen in Half-Life. Black Mesa was built and founded on the basis that Half-Life: Source was inadequate as the Source engine port of Half-Life, regardless of the intentions of VALVe Software. As such, Black Mesa was founded to fully reconstruct the Half-Life universe utilizing Source to its fullest potential in terms of art detail, level sizes and code features. This total conversion will not require Half-Life: Source to play - only a copy of any Source Engine game installed on Steam.Black Mesa is set in and around the Black Mesa Research Facility as depicted in the original Half-Life game. The research facility is a former Cold War missile complex based in New Mexico, and features a diverse array of locations ranging from abandoned rocket testing silos to modern administrative offices, from underground physics laboratories to a full-scale hydroelectric dam. The game continues beyond, into an inter-dimensional border world known as Xen. What will set Black Mesa apart from other Source engine modifications in development is the attention to environment detail. Levels will be faithful to the original Half-Life concept and built from scratch, yet will feature higher-resolution textures, detailed world models, and a higher quality of audio ambience courtesy of the Source engines soundscape system. The end goal of such attention to detail is an immersive single-player environment, which will engross the player in a story that is yet to be matched by any other first-person shooter.
Black Mesa has many features, several of which are still in planning or being tested. Below are a few of the larger and more distinctive features of Black Mesa:
* Detailed and interactive environments based on the original Half-Life game, including reconstructed multiplayer maps;
* Single-player, co-operative and deathmatch modes planned;
* Original music score by Joel Nielsen;
* Artificial intelligence that will dynamically think, react and interact with and about their environment;
* Normal, specular and parallax mapping utilized on world surfaces and models where applicable;
* A priority on gameplay and immersion factors such as ambience, logical functionality and interactivity.
