Anyone know where I could find a BF2 key? We're about to go down memory lane at our lan party and play it next weekend, but one guy doesn't have it. I once registered it in Origin so I can dl it from there but it's not sold there anymore or even in Steam, where a few friends bought it from. So actually a couple geezers would need it.

what a legacy. i have evolved into my final-stage.
That mod was amazing in the beginning. Especially the fear and nuisance of getting bit to death and having to run for 25min to your dead body for all the junk you collected. That only made the effort of staying alive quite something. Plus getting revenge if some player killed you for that ghillie suit you just found. The br games have evolved quite a bit after that mod and now imo they just look like a massive cod game with some new features for adhd kids. Not my cup of anything.uziq wrote:
simply cannot care about these battle royale games. i feel like they've gradually removed the suspense and long build-up that (original/beta) day-z did so well.
not to mention they are all over-monetised as shit.
Was thinking of using the pressure washer or ask a local garrison if they could lend me some napalm. Then I picked up the shovel and now I got a slim path.
So the roof decidec to shed its skin. Now I got 6ft of wet and muy heavy snow in front of the porch. Fuck me.
Snow. Snow! SNOOOOOOW!!! Enough already with that stuff...
Plus China already has a massive wall. The US doesn't.
Some companies in Finland have started to bring back their IT from India. They're fed up with the crap quality they're getting. When I was working for a big global IT company the guys over here were depressed on mondays since they had to fix the shit the offshore folks had done over weekend. The ppl changing over there was insane. They weren't interested in training the staff. When someone continued to do lousy work they just got the next guy standing outside the door and said bye to the last one.

Damn Jay. Good thing you're ok!
Got the certificate today for the IT degree. Good thing old farts can do stuff like this too with small effort. I'm also eligible for a 395€ scholarship since this is a new field for me. Nice little bonus to waste on the 40th bday this spring. Now to look at some new stuff to study. AWS looks like good stuff to learn.Ultrafunkula wrote:
Congrats! I'm finally getting a formal degree of sorts in IT. Shoulda done this 10 years ago when I started in IT, but oh well... Doing 8 online courses and basically that's it. Also applied to a BBA school, but of course that thing was the second most popular choice that ppl clicked on... Still waiting further info on the process of that. In what sort of business are you working Ken?
I wouldn't mind managing people. After all it's pretty much like being a mod over here.
Sunny and -1C.
The new Prodigy album.
A friend of mine paid 2500€, minus some insurance, when he took his dog to the dentist. Think he said 12 teeth were removed.....
First? Nono, it's my second degree I'm getting in a bit basically without studying jack shit, just because I know so much. Don't know if that applies to you, but hey, such is life. I have a career, but I'm trying to change the direction. I enjoy my life quite some, thank you very much. Kids are growing and actually learning about life and how to behave. You teach that to your students? Wife got a new even better paid job and a sweet promotion. Gonna sell the house soon too and move. You got a house and a wife yet? Have a great weekend and don't your take the frustration in yourself out on the kids you teach. It's not their fault. xoxoSuperJail Warden wrote:

Oooooooh right Pace, now I remember him. Not sure if he's the one I was thinking about tho.
Wasn't he a project of some mod? Or am I confusing him with someone else...uziq wrote:

Says a lot about you kid, if you admire an asshole like Trump and the methods he uses to to fuck up the country you live in.
So I got the entry thingy on saturday. Been reading two reports from the ministry of economic affairs and employment for a week now. This stuff is so.... bleh.Ultrafunkula wrote:
Holy shit. Got an invitation to an entrance examination of that BBA thingy on saturday next week. Last time I had an exam was in -03 when I got the extra letter A (motorcycle) for my driving licence. Got an itchy feeling this will be a wee different than that one, or the vocational school exams over 20 years ago....
Sweet....
Yeah, apparently he was a goalie. Now he has a weirdly big fan base and has sold 20mil books about pure weirdoism. Yes, seems it happens. Gotta hope it won't happen to too many ppl lol. Also apparently there's an altar on Isle of Wight where the exe.. sorry sacrifice takes place. Kinda reminded me of let's see, Wicker man??? Anyway, fun to know that a voice heard inside your head, in front of a store on a pier makes you realize you're the all new Jesse. Can't make that up, now can you?
Dear lord, a friend just linked me some videos about David Icke. Uzi, have you seen any pedo-reptiles that he mentioned, walking around sacrificing the odd volunteer?
Not sure. Tried to get a taste of all (as many as possible) the funny stuff sold in N.Y. when I was there in my early 20's. Probably never tried it.Jay wrote:
Gross. You ever tried Tang? Same sort of thing. Comes in flavors like grape and cherry and is usually made with half a kilo of sugar per 4 liters.Ultrafunkula wrote:

Or are we maybe reading the posts all wrong? Maybe they're a carefully disguised cry for help and he can't type what he really wants in fear of the GRU staging an accident on the highway.coke wrote:

Wow.... just... wow. Read the Shahter vs. "Paid western media zeek" conversation and I'm quite speechless. I wonder, does it take much effort in being all see no evil, hear no evil when it comes to the west blaming Russia for shit they did?
Listening to Twin Peaks soundtracks at work. Good stuff.

Coulda yelled #meetoo after the gig. Some ladies came talking to us at the beer stand and one extra large lady starts rubbing herself on me. Pointing out that I'm a bit too married for shit like that didn't seem to bother her drunk waist from colliding with me. Ignored her was the best option and after that she moved to my buddy standing next to me. What a go getter...
Tickets to the Prodigy gig on friday. Gonna feel old as fuck in there, since they're playing at Weekend festival.
