If you do this the AA will show up as an empty AA vehicle that any good pilto will spot and bomb "just to be safe" as opposed to if your in it and the commander does not spot you or deply a UAV abouve you. Also a good thing to add would be ammo, better support than engy.mporlier wrote:
3 Setp out of AA. That way you will not show as ground targets for pilots
Yup US decided to not carpet bomb hanoi in the Vietnam war. Not that i agree, i think spawn camping is fun!.OpsChief wrote:
Any rules that remove the demand for a 360 degree battle, full team Strategy and Tactics, game balance and turns BF2 into a 1980s Space Invaders game pretty much suck.
Spawn Camping/Base Raping ROFLMAO. Can anyone name Superpowers who followed this rule in the last century, and what were the results?
Code the Rules Don't ROE them
Same thing was said about the N.Koreans in the Korean war, however with the help of the chinese they managed to hold onto the North and the rest as you say is history.MorbidFetus wrote:
There's a good documentary I've seen a few times (Children of the Closed State I believe). It was a bit eery watching it while I was in South Korea. It mainly focuses on the orphans but goes into accounts of cannabalism and secret camps. Reminded me of The Killing Fields.Too bad they're too broke to even train their military in modern combat. Iraq had better equipment during the Gulf War. NK's spec ops and chemical weapons are the only real worry.Citizen One wrote:
North Korea has a professional army, it's not like dealing with some rowdy insurgency with rpgs, this is the real deal with big guns and artillery, so before you invade a country like that, things have to be planned.
I wouldnt say i am praising America infact i could go on a tangent about how much thier foreign policy bothers me, im just saying Europe should take some responsibility, Africa is the abused kid on the block its no wonder its dsyfunctional, and this is not directed at you but one of the other posters who mentioned the continual cycle of leadership in African states, if you cant see that instabilty in Africa = Cash back for ex colonials then your blind and ignorant of the facts.CameronPoe wrote:
I think it odd that you be praising the newest wave of imperialism - the US conquest of the middle east - when you yourself are from a continent whose progress has been held back for possibly centuries at the hands of colonialism. If you think the US are going to leave Iraq in such a utopian state then IMO you will probably be gravely mistaken.
Thats not entirley true,Africa is still suffering and the colonials have still not made repirations.Vilham wrote:
Valid points however alot has changed in the last 200 years so all of those points are pretty irrelivent in this day and age, the furthest back anyone can hope to compare a country to is about 50 years max. Cultures completly change within that time frame.

Because they have no recources of note, however in area's of Africa were diamonds, gold and oil are easily found, so is U.S. infulence, for example Angola,Nigeria and the Congo basin.Only difference is that they get away with far more there because its really easy to run covert operations in Africa due to instability, lack of telecomunications and a media presence.Nicholas Langdon wrote:

You make many good points but the peace you talk of never existed.- you won the war in the end and many years of relative peace ensued. I didn't see ye attacking any 'potential' or 'maybe' enemies.

woaaaaaa slow down guys, rd_the_dog plays bf2 in south africa were we only have two server host both of whom run ranked servers and neither have ever hosted knife/pistol servers. All his knife kills are against local south african players in normal ranked urban map servers. So the only thing you could say is that he got them on karkand, mashtuur, sharqui but apart from that its all clean.
But, a knife monkey is a knife monkey.
Ok dood its simple, first up drop all your settings to low, dont care what card you have just do it. View distance as high as possible. Now slow your mouse down, your having problems hitting your targets because your mouse speed is too high. Once you have done the two load a co-op game or single player game with bots. Now try and only shoot the buggers in the neck/head, take your time to aim, slowly you aim speed will increase, dont speed your mouse up when it does, just move to public play and try and do the same thing. It will also help if you take your time before deciding were and when you fight. Join the game check the map out and try and enter the battle from the side, look for your targets and dont get greedy if you see three enemy just work on getting the one kill first, in time you will learn how to multikill.Freight wrote:

Quoted for truth, infact im shocked at how little you ppl know about comp games or esports as the Euros like to call it.Its getting bigger every year ppl, infact we send teams over to WCG CPL and ESWC and when i mean we i mean goddam living at the bottom of the continent using 512 adsl that has 3 gig cap SOUTH AFRICANS. Are you all ignorant or what ?.xaven wrote:
Clans release press releases because the press wants to know (and the community wants to know). thats all. every top clan got a marketing manager, send players and functionaries out to give interviews, so why shouldnt they release news for the press? In germany we got many media, also TV, who is specialized on esports and do you know how I could know about the issue? yes, from the media.
seems most members here play for their own, alone, on public servers only using voice comm from time to time (thinking they are good because of a high score on public - did u ever see a top player on a ranked?). no offense, but these obviously have never heard of the WCG, CPL, ESWC (and the world tournament) and have no idea about competitive gaming at all. so they laugh about code7's press release. and thats the reason why you cant say "I play bf2, cs whatsoever" in the same way like "I play football, tennis, golf". in china esports is an officially recognized form of sport through the china olympic committee. stop being that ignorant plz, in 10 years you will understand ...
Agreed, there is nothing harder to do, than defeat an enemy that is protecting his homeland.oberst_enzian wrote:

You might say, that Iraq used T-72 tanks agains US M1A2, but consider this: those tanks where mostly not the modernized variant, they where not properly maintained, the crews where not properly trained and the morale was below the freezing point, metaphorically speaking.
Thats not totally true, as commander, if you ran a scan and saw a six man squad on the flank or even behind you team, you going to spot them and try get one of your squads to peel off/fall back on deal with them.I don't understand how it would be more effective. Maybe equally effective, but you don't gain anything by not being in a squad.
Agreed, infact its easier to cap flags. Am planning to cover that in the update.Darky wrote:

What you failed to mention, is that lone wolves can be just as effective at capping flags as squads can be. In fact, I've been in squads where everyone just does there own thing and being a lone wolf in that situation, imo, is more effective then being part of a squad.
