I joined a club several years ago.  Member drive so no initiation fee.  I do not get to play golf currently as much as I like but I do use the restaurant and pool.  currently still a member with no thoughts of leaving.  for me it is the price and what I get.  Great price and nice people.  It is less than 20 minute drive from my home.  If the price is right I would do it

Welcome back bf2s, farewell stats.  I bought one pi to run openelec and stream movies from my htpc.  Works very well, the built in cec works great on the TV(I can use the original TV remote to control the pi).  I have not tried it for any thing else

Close enough for government work....

made it out to the mountains of Western North Carolina for weekend of golf 1st hole on one of the courses

I have the RBZ irons which are similar.  They are great clubs, hit very well, the long irons are easy to hit, and good contact goes a long way.  When you make great contact, it feels like magic.  (To a high handicapper)

I like these AM maps.  A lot more than I expected.

Thought I would share.  Since the harddrive died in the car and I had to remove the PC and screen, I have been exploring what to do next.  Either install a 7in tablet or this and reuse my screen.

Found a rush round on AK.  Admins had instant vehicle spawn on so the ac130 never went down and it was constantly raining enemies on the objectives.

Download golfshot for your smart phone.  About the only app I use on my phone.  There used to be a free version that was minus the gps.  free or buy it is a good program

Just received a SSD and W7.  I would like to submit for a rebate on the SSD, but my other new parts are not here yet as I have not ordered them yet.  If I install W7 on the SSD in my old PC would it be an issue to just plug it into the new PC when the parts do arrive.  Maybe a couple of weeks before I order the remaining parts. (waiting on i5 price to drop a bit.)
