I personally believe alcoholism isn't as effected by the options as much if you were allowed alcohol when you were younger (early teens sometimes younger).
I live in an Italian style family and I was introduced early to wine, I'm now 16 and alcohol doesn't interest me, my mates on the other hand crave to go out drinking. Though I might be the exception not the rule. I believe people are attracted to what you can't have, and if you were told your not allowed a beer or similar till your 18 (or 21 depending on where you live), your gonna try and break that by sneaking out with ya friends and go drinking with them, which could lead to dangerous situations, while if you with your family when you drank, you would be looked after more and it also stops you from over drinking and getting alcohol poisoning etc. If you  go drinking with your friends your gonna go out regularly and binge, and if that continues your gonna get an alcohol dependence.

You forgot to mention the vents on the under-side of the walker, 1 hit kill with infantry A.T.
Otherwise it is a pretty good diagram of the weakpoints and hardpoints of a walker.

I got a lot of knife kills, compared to every other weapon, and I got most of my kills from either following someone running from the main battle (you would be surprised at how many dont turn around to check their 6) or points 1,2,4,5 of Magius5.0's list.

It was 1 shot kills to the back of tanks in Battlefield 1942 and Vietnam (I think) too.
If it is laggy, either upgrade your comp or find another server. I have found 2142 to be more graphic intensive than Bf2 because of the weather effects (snow etc) and because Bf2 didnt have a giant flying, moving aircraft carrier  that everyone (with a brain ) whores out to get 50 or so team work if the enemy are intent on destroying the guns for points of their own.

I'm normally a ground-pounder on Wake TYVM. Once you get on the island you usually get great infantry combat, if you aint raped by the z-10 or j-10's or 3 T-96's. But other than that infantry combat is good on wake.

I believe boats still spawn even on IO. Check the southern most spawn point on 64 Sharqi (can't remember name off the top of my head).

But, for the life of me, I can't think how to fix it....



I did a bit brainstrain, but I 'Think' this is how I fixed it...

*  START-->Settings-->Control Panel
*  D/click "Display" Icon... Goto the Troubleshoot TAB and on that page you will see:

Enable Write Combining

with a tick box next to it, and I think you will find that it is ticked.

Remove the tick, click OK. I'm not sure from memory, but I think you'll have to reboot and you should be fine.


Please let me know if this works for you or not.

You have to add the height of the man to the radius of the earth, and then work out the circumference

Actually, it dosent matter about the planes. the US on the carrier have a 20 second longer vehicle spawn time. somewhere is a thread detailing the spawn times for vehicles on every map, and the PLA have a 30 second time for their planes, while the US have around a 50 second spawn time for theirs.

I reckon the U.S jet spawn time should be 10 seconds, so they can take out the J-10 the good ol' Russian way, send em forward till they enemy runs outta ammo and retreats

Ah I give up, I'm getting my bro's old card when he gets his new one in a week or so. It has a better cooling system on it. Thanks for everyones help on this

Unlike yours, mine happens every day after the game(Bf2, BF2142, C&C Generals and a few more) loads a new map etc, but less graphic intensive games seem to work fine.

After you install it go to Performance/Adjust Gpu and at the button it should show your temp.

I think it has something to do with tempurature because the more I play the worse it gets.

Well I have had a pain in the ass graphics problem and I have yet to find out what is causing it.

Try this, it isn't 100% accurate but it comes really close. It uploads your comp's specs and compares it to the minimum and recommended specs and tells you what is required and what will run fine with it.
