Why did you buy an Xbox when you already had a PS3? Or did you sell that before?-Sh1fty- wrote:
I might return my xbox...
Consoles will have more players no doubt.-Sh1fty- wrote:
I still dislike consoles. I'll have less players, ... I don't mind a few less players and lower graphics.

Fucking gotta update the PC first... still on XP.
My Uncle who is now like 58 or something got me and my bros into games back in about 89-90. It's not at all weird seeing him play games. He doesn't play FPSs but if he liked them then I'm sure he would. I can definitely see me playing BF8 when I'm 50+Spearhead wrote:
I can understand someone who grew up in the 80's being interested in games but to me someone that old on the internet is just creepy. My dad is a baby boomer in his 60s, he hardly knows how to use a basic computer let alone play a game like solitaire

Have you tried running in compatibility mode? If you right-click the .EXE file that launches the game you should have a compatibility option. Try selecting XP as the mode and see if emulating XP will help.
HL2, LOTRO, EQ2, UT3, Simcity societies. All work on highest or near highest settings.adam1503 wrote:
Do any other games work on your laptop? If so, I'd check with EA to see whether your card is compatible with BF2.
It is a gaming laptop. It has an 8600 GT (the best notebook video out now)adam1503 wrote:
Check whether your notebook has an embedded video chip... it almost certainly will, as most non-gaming laptops do. BF2 absolutely will not run on an embedded video chip, so Im afraid youre stuck my friend.
OK, I didn't realize that.Pubic wrote:
There aren't per se, depends on the type of Islam. Saying all muslims have to pray 5 times per day is like saying all christians are catholics.
I didn't mean to pray only when you needed something, but that is one of the reasons to prayStormscythe wrote:
Also, I'd find it quite hypocritical if someone only prayed when he feels the need for god helping him out.
I don't agree with this statement. I think stats help teamwork, at least it does for my friends and me. We go get flags together, revive/repair/resupply each other because it helps and we get points. Same with capping flags. We don't care as much for kills as we do the teamwork points. Plus, the better you work together the better chance you have at winning the round. I care alot more for the win than KDR. Take a look at my stats.-[Silver.Inc* wrote:
Stats ruin the 'team' aspect of BF2'
Very rarely do you see a squad working together well. Instead of capping a flag, people want to sit behind the known spawn point and set up camp on the people who are about to spawn. The game is supposed to be about winning the round, not who gets the best KDR.
