What if you're on the Spetsnaz side and you steal an SAS medic's kit?

Just want to clear it up that there's one type of solid-looking fence in the game that you can shoot through with almost anything. Mashtuur's power station has such a fence (your best odds are to spray the fence with a tank/humvee machinegun to take down flag-cappers safely). Karkand has a couple of such fences in Grenadespam Lane, and I've killed a few people (by using assault rifles/SMGs) that thought it was safe to hide in a corner with the fence as "cover".[NeMe$i$.Dr4g0ncl4w] wrote:

It's no wall, but if you see someone shooting through the fence with incredible accuracy (and especially with a sniper rifle)... yeah.

Been trying to search for an answer to this, both on the forum and through Google; everyone's glad to explain what dual-channel RAM is and how to utilize it, but it seems they miss a more important question:
How much of an impact does dual-channel really have on performance, compared to single-channel?
I'm still kind of trying to decide exactly what I'm going to upgrade to, so is there a rule of thumb to go by? Would it depend at all on the FSB of the motherboard/processor, and/or the speed of the RAM? I'm kind of on a budget, so I'd gladly sacrifice a tiny performance boost to save some bucks, but I'd also like to know if it'd be a terrible mistake to even think about buying a motherboard that doesn't support dual-channel.
Any advice or links are appreciated.

Sir,
Your argument is well-spoken, but I must respectfully disagree. While intelligence and statistics may have some correlation, there is insufficent evidence with the exception of isolated anecdotes.
I propose that we use the scientific method to reach a conclusion that everyone can agree upon. That way, there can be no doubt, and there never needs to be any dispute over the smartness/stats dilemma ever again.

Looks manipulated.
I'd probably quit. I don't think I could handle the USMC Commander treating me like a newbie again with his demeaning voiceovers if I made a new account.

A couple more for that list of letters, just because I'm the only one that's ever going to guess 'em right:
F - Companions of Xanth
H - Ascendancy
I feel like I should know X. Revenant, maybe?

I really don't see how a lot of these answers give a physiological advantage, except for the loaded gun.
They can thank me by staying alive for more than 5 seconds.
If I'm confident that I won't die doing it, and if it's important for me to get to a flag (like when our tickets are bleeding), I'll blow right past the tank. But it only works in some cases, like if you can quickly get behind some cover.
Otherwise, at close range, same thing every time: Fire at the treads; when I'm on fire or one shell from dying, turn to the left and bail, and use the charred shell of the APC as cover to fire a rocket (as anti-tank) or make a swift escape (non-AT).
Long range = Hit and run.

Hacks don't really work like that, and on his side it probably seemed as if everything was completely normal.
I'd sooner blame the server screwing something up, or a packet lost somewhere along the line when the game was determining his team.

Bah, he used Victoria's Secret as the second song (a fitting choice for a frag video), but the audio quality is so terrible...
"But honey, this one's eating my popcorn!"
...And then the round ended 5 seconds later.

They're unstoppable in vehicles and pretty good on foot, but the real kicker was one round on Dragon Valley with about 12 players or so.
"Kenthar, command for us."
"Uh, okay, I guess."
Let's just say, if I spotted or UAV'ed something, no matter where on the map it was, it was on the receiving end of a chaingun barrage or TV missile literally ten seconds later.

It's a legalized radar hack -- in other words, extremely powerful.
Certainly, scan+spotting is more covert, but UAV is a must for crowded situations.

It was a long time ago, but probably the DAO. Back in the old days, it provided the biggest upgrade over stock weapons, as the SMGs were just useless.
Gotta go with the goofballs when I'm making daring raids into the enemy uncappable and stealing all their accordions.
Body always, or whatever's exposed (usually feet, hands, or the head if they're looking over a wall) -- EXCEPT if it's pretty close range, they're not moving, and they don't see me.
Even with sniper rifles, I'd much rather put a bullet into someone's ribs at long range than waste all my time missing. The only sniper-headshots I go for are the shots I'm certain I won't miss.

Support.
See, I've figured it out. All the other classes have their own strengths, and support (note the name) gives the GOOD kits their ammo!

Yeah, a T intersection onto a one-way street would normally have a stop sign. That makes the "red light" equation moot.FrankieSpankie3388 wrote:
edit - Also where the hell do you live that you have an intersection with lights that has a one way street involved? That doesn't make any sense to me, especially if it's a T intersection.
Any round with "high explosive" or "fragmentation" in its name is probably going to hurt if it explodes near you. The M203 uses 40mm grenades, and so far as I know, the casualty range on those are pretty decent.

Barring that, 7x8^x is understood to be an exponent. In Microsoft Word, you'd use Ctrl+Shift+= (equals) to go into superscript mode.
Why would ammo matter? Something wrong with picking up an enemy kit?

Why does the cow just disappear, and then the UFO suddenly zips away? Doesn't there need to be some kind of verbal exchange, like:
Pilot: "Okay guys, is the cow in the cargo hold?"
Crewman: "Yeah, it is. We're good to go."
Crewman 2: "Hit it! I mean, 'Go go go!'"
Pilot: *Honks horn, drives away*
There simply wasn't enough time. Such haste risks making a mistake, like dropping the cow while flying away. Then they're have to repeat it all over again.

Maybe he means which side your character holds his gun on. In Battlefield 2 it's stuck on the right side, but in a game like, say, Unreal Tournament, you can choose left, right, or hidden (or "center" if you're completely whack).

Or, if there are only like, 8 people on the server, I'll even bail and crash the chopper just to revive someone. I mean, what's a multi-million dollar helicopter compared to human life?
