So I figured out a way to fix the regedit problem, had an old VB program that I used on my old machine, which then allowed me to fix my task manager value in the registry. However every time I use one of the kingston usb drive's in the house, the registry probelm reappears; any ideas as to whats wrong besides them all being infected with a virus?

Alright, so my sister plugged in her usb drive to copy some word files over to my machine to print, and now I cannot use Task Manager or Regedit to fix shit. I google'd for the problem, but there's just too many different things and im quite unsure of what to do. I've run Spybot S&D, but that only temporarily fixes the problem, after rebooting it's fucked up again. So now I ask you, the techies of BF2s, wtf can I do to fix this.

I have been using rivatuner for a few months now and the card temps been no higher then 50 C under load. Also im running an Antec 650W power supply.

2gb of OCZ PC6400 DDR2
Leadtek 7950 Gt 512mb
Currently this rig is having alot of probelms with the video card artifacting, and just general freezing from playing games like bf2. This happens even at LOW settings, which makes think theres somethin wrong with the card itself. I've reinstalled drivers (did use driver cleanup) and that didn't solve the problem. If anyone knows another solution that'd be great, otherwise I am looking for a new video card in the $200 price range.

How old's the 2.2 ghz p4? I can tell you now that i've seen even a p4 @ 2.6 lag like shit. The old intel chips were a little on the slow side before c2d.
