Nope! That's been improving over the past two months *knock on wood*. I met and hooked up with a nice girl in ATL but it wasn't gonna work out, and I've met a pretty great girl here in SC but I'm not gonna let it get too serious since I'm moving back to Maryland in a couple weeks and don't know where I'll be going after graduation.
You can check out but you can never leave.

4 was the first one I played. Needless to say, shit like this was absolutely bizarre to me:
I haven't smoked in like two months, and I'm seeing one of my favorite bands on 4/20. Pretty sure I'm gonna get a contact high walking into the venue.
They have gotten a lot weirder... but I enjoyed MGS4. Haven't played Peace Walker yet, I'm probably gonna get the HD collection soon so I can play that and MGS3.
Ground Zeroes is one story, Phantom Pain is another if I'm not mistaken. Both will be part of MGS5.
Was it fun to play? I'm wary of all the 10/10 reviews and the people on /v/ are too fucking stupid to call it anything other than amazing or utter shit._j5689_ wrote:

The wiki has said this as well, I don't understand where they're getting it from though, the events of BioShock 1 & 2 have nothing to do with anything that happens in Infinite or its "time loop" or whatever, BioShock Infinite could've happened or not happened and Andrew Ryan still would've created Rapture(if I recall, the developers mentioned that Infinite might not even have been canon to 1 & 2, even though Rapture does appear at the end of Infinite in an insignificant role). I hope the creators don't consider it true, I hate these "Now nothing ever happened because everything canceled each other out/was all just a dream" type of endings where they feel like they're being really deep by taking you for a ride and then making all of it not matter at all at the end. It's not a morally good or bad ending, it's just a wtf did I just watch ending
I think I actually enjoy CoD more than BF now.

Christ. Two students died and one student suffered non-life-threatening injuries Tuesday morning in what police described as a murder-suicide at a house on the 8700 block of 36th Avenue, about a block from the northern edge of the campus, Prince George's County Police said.
The shooter reportedly lit a small fire in his basement, which prompted two of his roommates to go downstairs and see what was happening. The three students went to the front of the home, where the shooter shot one roommate and then the other when he tried to flee. He then went to the back of the home and shot himself, police said.

we've exhausted muslims and abortions. i think everybody here supports gay marriage and ending the drug war. economics gets boring. DAST is pretty much the current events forum now. there's the occasional non-issue (like Macbeth's thread about public breastfeeding) but on the whole, this forum has descended into a never-ending argument of left vs right. I don't know why we keep acting like anybody's opinions on here will ever be changed.Spearhead wrote:

This wasn't a couple of gangbangers shooting over disputed turf, this wasn't a jilted lover shooting his wife's other gentleman, this wasn't even a 7-Eleven robbery gone bad. I don't think banning guns would be possible in the US. It works well in European countries because they haven't really had the gun culture of the US nor have they had the massive amount of weapons floating around that the US has. Congress could pass an amendment that basically cancels the 2nd Amendment tomorrow but it wouldn't do much because there would still be a shit ton of firearms on the now-black market.
If we really want to reduce gun violence in the US, we have to attack ALL of the factors that are part of it. It's easy to pick out the weapon and say "there's the problem!" but truth be told it goes beyond that. I think it was Romney who said that single-parent homes are a bigger contributor to gun violence than lack of gun control. Poorly-worded statement (and kinda bullshit, I know lots of kids raised by single parents who are fine folks) but I get what he was saying. The problem is it's a lot harder to point the finger at poverty or education.

not that I think guns are inherently evil or anything, but it's a hell of a lot easier to kill a bunch of people with a gun than, well, anything else besides explosives or some other weapon like a bioweapon
