Enemy Territory-games are a lot more skill than CS-games.
In CS it is usually just aiming in the same exact height all the time, and you only need 1 shot to kill on headshot (sometimes 2 if they wear kevlar w/helmet). In games like ET:QW there is a lot more up and down, strafing and speed, AND you need 3-4 headshots on a full-health player. You also got the Quake-games and warsow which consists og much the same movement as the ET-games, just faster

Got a little question here:
With focus on a lot of new games the forums will probable grow pretty much, would it then be smart to give moderators a single forum/game to moderate? Of course there should be some who can moderate the overall forums, but I think if there was like 1 or 2 (or more depending on the size of this part of the community) who got mainly focus on just a few sections moderating might be more effective. And then the users who spend much time in this certain forums would get a more "personal relationship" to the moderator, making it easier to communicate between mod/admins and users

Stkhoplite, if you haven't played demo/beta and don't know the game I would suggest you d/l the demo and use it + reading guides to learn the basics of the game (don't be scared of the demo-gameplay and map.. Valley is imbalanced ..), Because ET:QW ain't a game that you learn the basics of in half an hour, you gotta spend some hours on it

There are few bugs, and most of the maps and weapons is very balanced!
It also humiliates games like bf2 at most parts.
Examples are: Tactical Options; this game has possibilities for nearly infinite numbers of tactics. Spots; you can get to like every spot on each map, by trickjumping, teleporter, jumping upon teammates etc.
To me it seems like this got no limits.
ETQW's greatest problem is the amount of players but the promod is in planning, and it is expected that it will "convert" the last W:ET players
But I won't use my whole day writing about pro's and con's with etqw
So if anyone got any questions about ETQW, or comes from europe and wants to play: My xfire is just over there (<---)
