I'm enjoying 3 right now, though it isn't as memorable as BF2 was. Maybe I'll see if I can get it cheaper at EA once it's out..unnamednewbie13 wrote:
From what little I know, I'm not expecting it to be much different than BF3. I'd imagine that if 3 wasn't your cup of tea, then avoid 4.

I haven't really been following BF4 updates until recently. Will it be worth the buy?
I just recently got BF3 (Humble Bundle woo) because I didn't think it was as good as BF2 (I played the BF3 beta).

Managed to keep it under $15: Civ5, Just Cause 2 + 2 DLCs, and the Red DLC for Frozen Synapse. :>
I think I'm around there. Don't remember the date. I can make infantry and planes though.Finray wrote:

I already have 8 hours in Civ5. What the fuck.
I grabbed Civ5.
On hindsight I think it's just mouse lag due to graphics being set to high. The aim felt very floaty.mtb0minime wrote:
What would you like fixed? (not sarcasm). It's just the usual generic aiming scheme. Move mouse around and press a button to zoom in a little.DefCon-17 wrote:

I'll have to try lowering the graphics further to see if that fixes it.

Neither was Blacklight. What's your point.RTHKI wrote:

Nope.
Not sure if anybody still cares about TF2 besides "lol hats & wacky unlocks xDDD", but the ESEA LAN is happening today and tomorrow:

More of the same pseudo-stealth with the insta-kill everything in the area with a single click bullshit.

Keep hitting VGTG. If someone else does it, hit VGQ and then VGTG again.
So I decided to unlock the Infiltrator...and every time I get to the enemy base, everything is destroyed already. :<
I think I need to l2ski.

A Splinter Cell that isn't marketed towards the Modern Warfare retards.
Baldurs Gate?
Baldurs Gate?
So I got 250 gold from the Facebook thing...can't decide whether to get the bolt launcher first or unlock infiltrator.
I hope they put first person spectating in ASAP. Watching FPS games in third person or from free camera is horrible.
Flying through a corridor to grab the flag at 200 km/h while shit is blowing up around me and shooting at me is one of the most exhilarating things I've experienced in gaming.
Also, it's somewhat amusing playing juggernaut trying to bombard the enemy defences and having the same guy playing pathfinder constantly trying to kill you with his 800 hp.

What I've gathered from the last page and a half:
"Gross this game takes practice to get good at I don't want to play it anymore."
You people and your instant gratification needs.

Schweet, I'll give it a watch. I'd like to play it competitively, seems like a ton of fun.Uzique wrote:

if you're tired of shitty bf/cod series, find tf2 stale, laugh at cs:go... and wonder just wtf is left of hardcore pc fps gaming: watch this.

Also, having arguments via the voice commands about who is the greatest is rather amusing.
Edit: Oh god the NA PUGs use Teamspeak.
Not hard at all to explain then.
So it's like strafe jumping without the jumping?

Are you supposed to hold in movement keys while skiing? I do the same thing as airstrafing in TF2, and that seems to work most of the time, but occasionally I completely lose control of my direction and go off somewhere I don't want to without being able to turn at all.
Definitely watchable. I can read most of the text and the FPS is good.

I don't really see Tribes being appealing to the "le randum lolz xDDDD" people though, even if they added a fuckton of skins.
Competitive TF2 is still going strong tbh (although not compared to other big comp titles, obviously). I can't comment on the Euro scene, but ESEA S11 seems to be shaping up pretty well. No 5-0 rolls in Invite, and Open has 20 more teams than it did last season.
..and of course there's the whole Highlander thing, but those people are just weird. (Though they outnumber 6v6 players by like....five times)
Miggle: That's not the point. Any console game is a joke competition-wise, imo.

I realize there's 99.99% chance they'd never do that, but I'd like to see it. I could've said that IPL should replace LoL with Tribes.
..Though with the LoL stream getting 120k viewers and the SC2 stream getting 50k, that's obviously not going to happen.
I'm just saying seeing something like Tribes being played at MLG would be much more fun to watch than the aim-assist snore fest that is Halo.
(I heard someone say they were watching Halo at MLG and one of the commentators said watching the screen is a skill.)

How the fuck did I compare it to Halo you idiot.Uzique wrote:
why the fuck are you idiots talking about halo? tribes doesn't even occupy the same space or niche as halo. not even close. did you read my first post about it? this game is quake live meets team fortress classic. did you play either of those defcon, or were you too busy being a shitnoob at tf2? this game could easily replace the moribund and stagnant tf2 scene, or give the tired old quake live scene a boost. it is focussed on that sort of gameplay: fast, insane twitch, intense, requiring high teamwork and communication. why are you utter idiots still talking about halo? makes as much sense as saying "this game could replace fifa football!"
I said MLG should replace Halo with Tribes, not that it's similar in any way.
Might wanna read before going on another of your nerd-rages.
I wonder what the competitive scene is going to do with Tribes. I've seen some organized matches, but it'd be cool if the bigger leagues picked it up. Fuck, replace Halo at MLG with this.
I was expecting a very sarcastic reply about playing Riki. :<
But yeah, he's fun to play. However, I'm thinking if I keep playing Dota it'll probably end up being like me "maining" Spy in TF2, where I wish I spent all that time on a class that's actually good.

Riki is really hard to play.

You can do TF2 1v1 in MGE Mod.
So I switched from my one computer to my better computer, and now the FPS is so low it's pretty much unplayable.
How does that work..

I am completely clueless when it comes to making websites.
From scratch, at least. If I have a template I can fiddle around with the HTML to customize it, but I have no idea how to start one.
I'd like to have the top of the Pior Oberson website, where he has his name, a short description, and those links to other pages.
Followed by a images like on Adam Bromell's website, where clicking on them would lead to a gallery of different shots of the original homepage image.
I think I could probably figure out how to get the images going, but I'm stumped when it comes to those links I want at the top.

I was expecting BF2s members to be recording videos of themselves dancing.

Modern Warfare 2
A total snore-fest of a game.
That's about it. I usually do a ton of research before I buy any game, so I'm not disappointed very often.
