June 25, then I'm out of college and then off to Uni. Should be a great new experience.
Well for those of you who like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. have a look at this:

I've always wanted to be able to fly, that would be cool. Being indestructable was also quiet tempting, but, well, being able to go pretty much anywhere sounds much more fun.
ROFL, they managed to take him away on his bed? lol Good laugh, I'm glad our television is... well, sort of sensible lol.
Would you be legally be considered a brother or sister of your primary? - Wouldn't they be considered your twin, seeing as they share all genetic features with you?
Would you have the right to inherit property from your primary? - Only if it had been stated as such legally by a will.
Could you sign for your primary since you are genetically identical of your primary? - No, they are individual still, so therefore would have their own say.
Are you responsible for any crimes your primary has done? - No, again similar to the above.
Are you responsible for any alimony or existing judgements against your primary? - No, again similar to the above.
Could your primary harvest your organs with or without your approval, even if it meant your death? - No, that's illegal, and quite sick, seeing as they are yours, not his/hers.
If you made love to your primary, would it be considered incest? - That's just wrong lol.

Although it's too late to actually give advice, I would have said if you have to fight, go for the biggest one first, will make the others think twice before taking you on.
Very eloquent, and well thought out. The message it conveys is one of both friendship and hope. For myself, I would hope it does not fall on deaf ears.
Hahaha, trust someone to use it . But we'll be safe right up until we see the dramatic increase in the number of Arnold-Swarchenegger look alikes.
That's a really great vid, nice work and a really good song to help with the action. +1
Bad day, but if you're in a negative attitude things always tend to appear more stressful and worse than they are. Just take the bad with the good though and try to be positive, it's the weekend, so you'll have time to chill out.
lol that's the best one, and if anything, you should try and get more Russians to work there would make your job so much easier. I don't envy your job with those sorts of people though, keep up the good work.Cougar wrote:

Couldn't that fall into both categories though? I mean what we usually understand as right and wrong is usually influenced by society around us and the views we hold.RicardoBlanco wrote:

I have always found that this is a very difficult argument to be able to decide my opinion on. I have often found that when I drift more toward the idea that, from a religious stand point it is seen as necessary, there is nothing wrong with it, but then I am also in conflict then with the idea that it should be that person's decision whether or not they would want the procedure carried out. Medically there have been studies showing that, yes it does lower the risk of infection, but then again, I am sure that this could be remedied with the appropriate level of sexual awareness when it comes to being able to clean yourself. Not enough is really done I feel in terms of sexual education about this matter, but then again, I do now feel that it ought to be carried out with only that person's permission, and understanding of the matter, rather than it being done without their consent.
I envy you lol. We no longer get exam leave, because our teachers are complete and utter gits . Got A2's starting in less than a month now, with a 12 hour graphics exam next Tuesday.kptk92 wrote:
So, my first day of SATs come to a close. Science exams all day today, which sucked, but also nice to get out of the way so early.
Anyone else doing their SATs/GCSEs/Other exams at the mo?
Oh, I also get most of the morning off too as we only need to be in school for the exams ;D
Then History and English Lit following on. Don't worry about the exams, you've not got any trouble until you hit college, and then Uni, but from what I have heard from my friends, Uni exams are about as difficult as A levels, but easier on the work level. Good luck to all you guys who are going for your exams.
Nice vid, I have to say I prefer the Baur now to all the other AR's in the game.
The English Electric Lightning, that's certainly one of the best in my books. Design wise, it wasn't the most efficient, fuel being a major problem, but it dominated in speed. I just like the character the aircraft has.

Stryyker, nice choice of aircraft btw, its a beautiful plane. Almost forgot about her.

Nice shooting, my friend goes out bird shooting every so often, although he only uses a shotgun. All the same, nice weapon you have.
Never heard it called that before, and I can't really think how you'd get them mixed up lol.
Best way I've found to use the motion mine bait it is to try and throw it in the direction the mines have been deployed. So if they are in a line, throwing the bait straight over-head from one side to the other works well, or if its deployed with lots of space between them, throw it far and usually it will drag all of them with it. Just try and throw the grenade in a way that it will attract the most of the enemy's mines. Also a growing tactic I have seen is the second passenger in a vehicle as engineer will bail, throw the bait, and then get back in to clear the way.CameronPoe wrote:
Knifing, roadkills (aaargh, if I could only get roadkills I'd have a ribbon and medal to my name instantly), assault kit, the new motion mine bait grenade (how the fuck do you use it effectively???), accipiter - the thing can't hit shit as far as I can see.
I've had a lot of success in getting badges on Titan levels. I usually deploy it at hot-spot points that are often contested, like silo's 2 and 3 on Minsk. Once the shield goes down on the Titan, I then get my squad to start podding in with the SLSB. You can get 30 + in some cases, but if this doesnt work for you, just try and find a server with tickets that decrease slowly.
Actually to my knowledge that has only been linked and been sort of true once. A kid at my school was murdered 3 years ago by his friend who used a screwdriver to stab him, before leading him to die. They linked the computer game 'Manhunt' to his crime, because he had played that, and in that the player gets a screwdriver at one point or something like that. It's not really the game in the end, its the person's mentality and mindset. Sad thing to have happen, but again, its down to what we see in both the media, and during our lives that change us.Liberal-Sl@yer wrote:

Very true. While it wouldn't be so bad for the journalists in getting more news that sells, they should at least consider the moral implications to an extent. Someone did a drama piece at the college I go to recently, and it was very in keeping with this theme that "news sells", based around gun crime. I suppose it comes down to where the line must be drawn, but not too many people seem to see that these days.Toxicseagull wrote:
i wouldnt say the media is oblivious to its affects. the more they make it a tragedy the more they sell, as with the more they reveal. i would state they are very aware of what they print and its affects. however if it was to fuel more circumstances that can be made news worthy would it be considered a bad thing from a journalistic point of view?
This issue has been done to death it seems. But still, no, I don't think the Voss should be nerfed. It has a high rate of fire for close quarters, and a high degree of accuracy at short range. The Baur is the exact opposite. I got wasted by some guy when I was using the machine gun in close quarters against him. Did I whine? No, it was my fault for not providing fire from mid-long range, where the machine gun excels. It all comes down to playing style, and how you use your weaponry.

Are you honestly suggesting that bullying doesn't happen in European schools? Come on.
You're right in that respect, and while I'm sure the media feel obligated by their responsibility in bringing the public the truth, I think that they should show a little more caution in how they communicate themselves to their respective viewers. A lot of people are desensitised by what they see and hear about from the media, and I think in some cases it certainly has changed
how people would have responded to a certain situation.
Thing's would be so much easier if life were more like cartoons . Whatever happens though, I do hope that both sides learn from past experiences, so it better aids them in the future.Toxicseagull wrote:

There is a lot of violence in schools everywhere I think, there is a lot of it in UK schools, many who have problems with bullying, and the victims turn to suicide. But it's actually the reverse in many respects, because its the ugly, unsuccessful ones who go on to pick on the high achievers. However, I can see where you come from, and capitalist concepts in these respects are quite evident throughout many societies in the West. As for American schools, well, from what I know there is easier access to firearms in the US, but I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see a shooting in the UK soon enough, with weaponry becoming more widely available.Braddock wrote:
Why are American schools so fucked up? Could it be something to do with the Capitalist concept that only the strongest succeed in society? Those that are perceived to be weak (lacking in personality, ugly, not successful in academic or sporting terms) are shunned and often bullied. How can you perpetuate one concept for society i.e. do everything you can to get ahead, be successful, work hard, strive towards higher social circles etc. and then try and turn around to the youth and say 'play nice, be fair, don't bully, don't be elitist'?
Just a theory but there is a higher frequency of this kind of thing in the States than in Socialist Europe, what does anyone else think?
Still, armed or not, there is bullying throughout society, its the sad fact that its because we're human.
Interesting points . Religion has always played a great part through the conflicts in Ireland, and you are right in that it is all too easy to find one party to blame. At the time, I do believe that what they did was the right thing, but I can't see that what has happened since then was acceptable to either side. Over the years, there has been a great deal of unity that has emerged between both sides, as well as a friendship forged. All that was needed was time, and for views to be accepted with both sides. I think that it's nice to see a new nation, in some respects, come into being.Toxicseagull wrote:
sure but as a substantial (in some areas) part wanted the union to continue could you blame the UK for acting how it did? splitting the country into how it is today? i see a lot of blame banded about and whilst its easy to head for the "evil oppressor" i think its much more reasonable to look at why it acted the way it did. a large factor of it resolves in my opinoin of the view that the protestants were seen as un-irish, even whilst it had been generations since settlement. they felt threatened as a irish national and asked for seperation. would a country be praised for ignoring this plea and not protecting its citizens by vote?
Taken one down on my own before, but it took a while. Much better if you have some squad members helping you. Using stationary gun platforms is often the best way to knock them out. After you've hit 3 panels, its done for as long as its in clear sight of the gun. I just kept shooting it and it couldn't repair quick enough. Otherwise I usually go spec ops and plant a c4 on most of the side panels. With only one left, it's not got much chance.
True, and no, I realise this, but I also recognise that a great number of Ireland's people would rather have a unified society and state.Toxicseagull wrote:
crestfallen, you state it like the whole of ireland wanted "freedom", are you forgetting the reason why the place was created in the first? it was unionist political party members in the commons and a vote that created NI. a reason why the other two county's werent added. they had the catholic majority.
EDIT: Only just saw that part, and no, I wouldnt. This is more in keeping for a new topic entirely. While you might say that is hypocritical, I did say I could not condone what they had done, but I did recognise why they did it. In the same way, I recognise why terrorists would want to target the UK, but I don't believe its right. I could never acknowledge that killing civilians was a viable solution to wanting your freedom. However I can see why they would do it.
QFT. While I don't condone what the IRA have done in the past, I can certainly see why they have done it, and why it may be necessary sometimes for people to go to such measures. If people want freedom it's their right to be granted it, and no one has the right to take that away from you. It should not have come to such brutality in the first place. Hopefully, when the votes are cast, Ireland will be set free by its own people. I only hope that people will learn from mistakes like this so it won't happen again.Braddock wrote:
Yes I can see all the American soldiers and politicians of Irish descent going along with that plan. You sound like someone who is still bitter at the fact that the most skilled freedom fighting association the world has known (prior to Al Qaeda-who I actually consider to be terrorists) happened to be at war with your country and refused to lie down and be walked over by your military forces. The war is over and the writing is on the wall, your plantation of the North worked for many years but it is starting to fail, once Nationalists are in the majority it's goodbye to the UK. You can dream up all the military fantasies you like, it won't make any difference.Skorpy-chan wrote:

The best way to get awards is to not try to get them. I find that if i drive myself to do it, especially difficult ones like the gold pistol badge, you make too many
mistakes instead of thinking it out carefully.
Panic pistolling, thats something I'm a bit weak at actually. That can get added to the list .
How is going to war with them going to solve anything? You'd only be repeating even more acts of violence, all Ireland has had for almost a century, even more. Why not let them have their peace?Skorpy-chan wrote:
Maybe you should look at the topology instead of just what's above water.

I got 9 in a round once, that bugged the hell out of me lol. People were hunting me after, and I've not been able to get any more than that since. It is a lot easier to get the Operation Snowflake Ribbon, but not all roadkills count towards it. I got about 7 before i got the ribbon, and I got around 16 in the round and still didnt get my Crew service ribbon. Roadkills with the speeder are a little bugged.cheshiremoe wrote:

I don't think I've had an accidental teamkill where I wasn't punished. It's very rare lol. I don't mind it being on or off, but with it off you do get the advantage of people not running right in front of you at point blank while your firing.

Hahaha thats a good one. PE was always a lesson we messed about in.
My friend was once partnered with this guy I know, and they were talking about what he did the night before with this girl. Safe to say he didnt want to stand up afterwards
because of what the conversation had been about, but the teacher was insistant because they wanted to pack away lol.
Another time same guy ran past us all with his ass showing. Would have been better if he'd seen the teacher jogging behind him .

I like the idea, but then again just setting your kits up at the beginning of the round isnt that bad. Still, might be a worthwhile option to keep your favourites locked.
It's requires a good EU team working together to get it, but its a shame when someone drives the goliath straight to their main base, and sits there doing nothing. Makes the PAC have an easier time by just ignoring it too.
The Krylov is a really nice rifle, but I don't know about the SCAR-11. It's a nice gun and all, but I'll take my Baur over it any day.
I always go for a head shot if I can, and most of the time, I use the normal sniper rifles. 6 Kills a clip if I get my aim just right. Sure their not as powerful, but they still do the job perfectly, and I prefer them over the Zellar.

Period. Faster spray, faster closing recticle.
I like to use all the machine guns, out of sound preference I like the Ganz, it has a nice and heavy sound to it. The LMG's are good, but I still prefer to use the Ganz over all. I like it's hitting power, and being able to pick people off quickly before relocating. Playing with the heavy machine gun on the move from target to target is always preferable for me, especially when assaulting caps.
Wow, nice music. While I prefer cleaner vocals myself, you have a really nice sound to your band. Welcome back to the forums also.
Really good work on those guides! +1

I can see where you come from, but I'm not entirely sure I agree. I'm not sure how true the film sticks to the original comic by Frank Miller, but then again it is trying to tell the story from the Spartan's perspectives. As with any story told from one side's perspectives in conflicts, your enemy are seen to be evil, lacking morals and freedom. I've not yet seen the film, but I keep this in mind when watching it.CommieChipmunk wrote:
The only plot that I could find hidden in the aforementioned characteristics, was a bunch of "heros" defending their homeland and their "freedom" from a bunch of Arabian-looking Persians lacking morals and freedom. White heros defending their homeland and their freedom from Arabian warlords, does that ring any bells? I've never felt inclined to leave a movie theater before, but I nearly got up and left. The only thing that kept me in my seat was trouble that would be caused by walking in front of the gawking morons next to me and the slight chance of seeing more nipples.
Feel free to disagree, but that is the last time I will ever pay to watch propaganda. Hurray war films with a hidden agenda, your filth has cost me eight dollars, fifty cents, and roughly two hours of my life.
Congrats. I finished getting mine last Friday. I'm sure the operation snowflake ribbon is bugged in some way though, becuase it took me more than 5 roadkills in the speeder to get it.
Also I managed to get the pin once, although it is a difficult thing to achieve.

That is pretty lame. Not happened to me for a while, most just ask me to get out if they have another guy from their clan there, but it just goes to show your probably best sticking to the ground when there are people like him in the air.
