The reason for the laws is to ensure the food the homeless people are getting isn't tainted. When I'd volunteer we'd have to throw out like half the food we got because it didn't follow the standards for acceptable. A lot of times people will give out food because they want to clear their pantry without looking at how old it is or if it's already been opened or not, so it rots. Even if you're giving out fresh grown food, there's a concern that you want manage it properly and thus there will be a breakout of e.coli or something or other.AussieReaper wrote:

illegally fed homeless people? it's sickening that there are laws against feeding the starving.
I'm not saying I necessarily agree with all the regulations, I'm just explaining why they exist.(not to put hippies in jail).
As per the "response", kids will be kids.
