I enjoy both BF2 and 2142 and I run my own clan for both games. Can't stand that Sims stuff or any of those RPG games. Nothing is better than putting the face of someone that pissed you off into your gun sights and blowing their freaking head off! Ask my team ... they'll tell ya!
I found all 15
Take a look here .. see if it helps you out some.
Yep happened to me but in 2142. Just go into your options and click on apply the default settings. Then change them to whatever you had them at before. Then .. go into your profiles folder and make a copy of it and save it somewhere.

Loved it. I bought the original prior to it being taken off the shelves for adult content. There is a mod .. hot coffee mod .. for the PC version. I wouldn't recommend it if you are too young. Bit explicit. But it is an awesome game and really huge. Enjoy it.
It's just that .. a rumor. And they were not and are not Red Injuns. They were and WE are Native American Indians. Most parents did not name their own child. Others did. And hardly ever was one named for something on the horizon.1927 wrote:
I often think about then Red Injuns from years gone by. They would name their offspring after what was on the horizon when they were born (so rumor has it).
You had names like, Sitting Bull, Big Ox, Strong Buffalo, Running Bear, Two dogs shagging and so on.
If I had a racehorse I would call it Hoof Hearted.
I hope this info is helpful

So true. When doing loops and such your hud looks funky. Or rather you look strange in the hud. Same for others flying. Try watching a couple of jets that are doing all types of maneuvers on the hud. They'll look like they are flying in a different direction when in fact they aren't.Fredrik wrote:

The hud is laggy like hell...
and what Bahiti said

Very clean and easy to navigate around. Loved rule #1! That is priceless! The scrolling kick/ban feature is nice. Like that. 8/10 Good work.
There is an afterlife .. or a different realm that most people can not or refuses to see.
None of the above. Daughter number one named after my grandmother Cynthia Teckwawinah Pekiyou and my youngest daughter, Jaqueline Desiree`, for a promise made to my mother.
Clicked all of them.
Harley's or nothing. My husband has a chopper in the garage and we are building a new one from the ground up. Wouldn't ride anything but a Harley.
Mother was Southern Baptist and my dad is Presbyterian. I was raised Southern Baptist but started rethinking all that was preached to me early in life. I have my own beliefs and follow the path that I was intended to follow.

Well we still have a few hours left of 2006 here. But Happy New Year to you also! May it be a good year for all.
To turn off your hud just hit the ~ key and then type in renderer.drawHUD 0 I think that is it .. to turn it back on just type a 1 instead. I found that here on the site a while back but don't remember where. If I find the link I'll edit.
edited for the correct command
To remove the HUD from your screen while watching a demo (the mini map, and any text on the screen):
renderer.drawHud 0
Can try here for some more info and another link.

So what is the point? He is a mod here and I am sure that he wouldn't do anything that is not right. He links back to where it needs to be which is what is suppose to be done. Giving credit where credit is due. Does he once state that HE made those? No. So again .. what is the point or rather what is your point?$h0ck3r wrote:

Texas born and living there now but was raised in CA .. 29 Palms Marine Corps Base. Miss it. Too damn cold here (I live in the panhandle region and yes it gets cold with snow and ice every winter) in winter and I hate tornadoes.

Well I got it a couple of weeks ago and installed the TS mod for it. Sure helps when I hear new player and can actually see who is coming in. It's got some nice features like the back light but like mentioned above it's mainly for looks. Other than you can't see the keys unless it is lit. I haven't tried any of the macros nor do I think that I will. I mainly got it for the ease of use and the TS display. I hate alt tab to see who joined especially since my team pretty much all sound alike and I can't figure out who is there LOL
Like yours Simon I'd give it an 9/10 and I changed up the text a bit .. thanks for the suggestion.Simon wrote:

badhq is his screen name here if memory serves correctly. Just go to his site and leave a message for him there. You may have to register. He's done a few threads here that are stickied as he is a mod here.

Get ahold of Boris from BadHQ. He's got a MP3 player that he put on my site for me and it works great. He's a mod here and will help you out if he has time.
Ok changed up the color on the text a bit .. is this what you were meaning?
Again, greatly reduced to keep the file size down a bit.

Suggestions to jazz it up a bit?
Ok I did a search and didn't find anything .. I am planning on redoing our clan site and wanted to use both BF2 and BF2142 images for the theme but wanted a bit of feedback (ideas and suggestions) on one image that I've done so far.
This has been greatly reduced so as not to take up too much room.

Hmm another great idea! Keep em coming LOL Hubby loves steaks!RoofusMcDoofus wrote:
Best way to thaw stuff: stick it in a bowl. Run cool water into the bowl for 10 minutes. The water doesn't need to be flowing fast, just that the idea is to move lots of heat into it, without making it a breeding ground for bacteria. If you micro, it will cook the outside, and make it like rubber.
Okay.. Next, get some pepper and salt, maybe a little chili powder/paprika and garlic powder/salt or cumin or cayenne pepper powder, and mix what you have together in about equal proportions with a little less salt than the other ingredients. It's really up to how spicy you want it, and what you have on hand, but overdoing spices will not be a good thing. On a really good, tender piece of meat, it's okay to use nothing but salt and pepper, but I like at least some garlic/onion powder. Take that mixture, rub it on your steak so that both sides are nicely covered.
Get a pan (cast iron works great), put a *little* veg or lite olive oil (not extra virgin, it will burn at low temperatures, and its otherwise a waste) on the bottom, and heat that sucker up so that the oil starts to look funky, but if you see little whisps of smoke, take the heat down. If you have more than 1/16 of an inch of oil, you've got way too much, you really only need a film of oil. Plop your rubbed steak down in the pan, and leave it alone for a few minutes--do not move it for at least two minutes. Also, don't cover the steak, that will just trap steam and make this process not work. What you're doing here is caramelizing the outside of the meat, making lots of flavor in the process... And if it looks dark brown, but not black, you're doing it right. If it's a thin steak (1/2" or less), it will cook pretty quickly, so if you sear that steak too long, it will be overcooked. Not good.
I use a pan, because most grills cannot produce enough heat to effectively caramelize the steak. If you do it right, you'll make as good a steak as most restaurants... And restaurants usually use a broiler that glows red to produce enough heat to make this happen quickly, then they cook the steak slower on a grill after that.
I like my steaks medium to medium well, so there's a little pink in the middle. This usually takes 20 minutes to get both sides good and brown on my cast iron skillet. To me it's the perfect balance between taste and juiciness, without hearing a moo each time you chomp down.
Oh yeah! That just seals the entire meal. Other than sharing with someone that can appreciate good cooking.Kmarion wrote:

Cool! Nothing worse than tough steak! Marinating alone will tender it up but the longer you do it the more tender it is. Just be sure to serve the appropriate side dishes to totally compliment the steaks. And don't forget the bread LOL

Next time you get some steaks just soak/marinate them overnight in the fridge in a cheap red wine mixed with some soy sauce just a tablespoon or so, and a good glop of honey then cook it the next day after it soaked in the meat.GunSlinger OIF II wrote:
