Maybe the Army wouldn't be so fat and nasty if they trained with us Marines...

The point of having a flashlight is not to blind/disorient/give away your position/stun the bad guys. None of that tacticool stuff. The purpose of a flashlight is so you can see shit in the dark. Ask a cop or anybody who's actually been in a situation where they had to draw their weapon and not be able to see a damn thing. The feeling sucks.
Not much, but I'd thought I'd share: My Armalite midlength (temporarily w/o the usual flip-up rear sight) and Glock 19.

nice tv. i say get the ps3 since they're similar in price range.
I did what you guys suggested and turns out the middle slot is messed up. The two end brackets weren't holding the ram down securely. Thanks.
I have an old computer that has 1.5gb of ddr (pc2100) ram. The mobo supports up to three sticks (3 gigs). I just removed the 512 stick and added 2x1gb pc3200 sticks. Does it work? I can't tell because when I go to system properties it's still showing 1.5gb, meaning it has not added or subtracted any value.
Good luck man. I ship out Monday for MCRD Parris Island. 12 weeks then back in time for college.
This guy locks himself in a room with a paintball gun controlled by a website where people can shoot at him 24/7.

You have to be at least 16 even though they usually won't hire you at that age due to lack of skills and experience.

An IQ test can't be used to measure intelligence or reasoning capacity.chittydog wrote:
Just because they can't reason as well as us doesn't mean they can't reason. Would you consider someone with an IQ of 70 sub-human or unable to reason? I guarantee you he'd never learn calculus. He may not even be able to learn an instrument or to draw. He would still have the powers of learning, thinking, creativity and reason, only just in limited amounts.
Bottom line: person = human being.
I agree with you, they can reason. I am saying though, they cannot understand things such as the concept of zero, space, time, infinite, etc. I doubt they can even do math (referring to chimps). Consider this experiment done on chimps:
There are two chimps in neighboring cages. They can see each other. One chimp is given a choice between a cup of one M&M and another cup full of M&Ms. Whichever cup he chooses, his neighbor gets. He'll always choose the cup with the most M&Ms even after it is repeatedly given to his neighbor. None of the chimps tested understood this.
I would like to think that even the dumbest human being is smarter than that.
Wouldn't it create more deaths since they're so advanced?Poseidon wrote:
Create less death, more work ethic in factories.
Bye bye, conventional warfare.
Animals can reason but they can't reason abstractly. No matter how many years you train a chimp, they'll never be able to grasp the concept of calculus.
Protecting them is one thing, but calling them a "person" is too much i.m.o.

Okay, will do. So this is definitely not a virus?
That's what I've been trying to do the whole time. +1 to you buddybluehavoc8686 wrote:
Parachuted off a building onto an enemy tank. I immediately planted the C4, but then realized that the guy didn't konw I was up there. I rode around on top killing off the gunners that spawned in his copola and any of his team mates around him. He seemed very frustrated reeling the turret around in circles trying to find me. My team mates laughed hysterically as I continued to do this. No one fired rockets at him knowing that they'd get a team kill. Finally, one of his team mates saw me and ran up to the tank with a shotty. Injured, I dove off and ran around the corner. When I blew the explosives, I killed the shotgun engineer, the tank driver and his squadmate who spawned on him. Another enemy saw me and ran toward me firing his rifle madly. Since I already had my C4 out, I dropped the last one and ran back around the corner. I got 4 C4 kills in just as many seconds. I'd say that was my best. That occured on Warlord.
I installed it myself. I tried unplugging the modem and wireless router and leaving it out for 15 minutes. Replugged it, still the same problem.
I have Comcast cable. Recently, I'm starting to have a connection problem. When surfing the web, it would work normally then stop working for a while then work again. At first I thought that this was a virus problem. But then, when I'm not using IE, such as playing BF2, it would lag and lose connection. So this is an internet problem right? The only thing is, my laptop's wireless connection is fine. What's wrong?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
I can do 10 pull ups. I'll make a note of this.Y0URDAD wrote:
How are you at pullups? For the USMC PRT, max is 20, and 1 pullup gets you more points than 1 pushup or situp. Make sure you can beast them going in and you will have a leg up. The swimming sucks. The detailers make you swim distance, sprints, and for water survival, they do basic drownproofing and disorientation.
I CAN'T SWIM!! OMG. Will I be delayed because I have to be taught?
I'm shipping out to Parris Island this summer. What do I need to know? I'm running 3 miles a day, 50-60 push ups a minute, and 50-60 sit ups a minute. My recruiter told me its basically just a lot of running, but I want more details. Anyone?
I've heard about PRM but not sure how it works. Is it an independent game or do you still need a BF2 disk to play?
Very nice!David.Podedworny wrote:
Mass destruction. Guy was capping the Checkpoint with a hind i put some c4 on the station wagon backed up a bit and at full speed kamikazed the heli in mid air of a cliff defending the flag and getting 2 kills. The pilot saw me a bit too late. But he complemented me on the kill.
I was thinking it would be nicer and more fun if the tank required a 3 men crew to operate properly rather than 1. You can have a driver, a gunner for the cannon, and the third gunner for the .50 cal.
1. It requires more teamwork
2. The tank will be more "aware" with 3 pairs of eyes instead of 1
3. Shooting on the go is more effective
4. Less tank whoring
Will it work or will it be too team dependent to function?

I've been using DVDShrink to do both but now I can't get past the protection on the newer DVDs. What program do you guys use that are reliable and can rip/shrink/burn DVD?
An officer and refusing to go to war? What was he thinking when he decided to join the military? Getting lots of government benefits for nothing? He deserves whatever punishment they dish out.
What's the coolest kill that you've gotten with c4?
Currently I'm trying to parachute off buildings and on top of armor. I also like loading c4s onto vehicles and waiting for enemy to past and blowing it. Kinda like car bombing. This doesnt work so well because some idiot keeps taking the vehicle and ends up gettin blown up even though they clearly see a shtload of c4 on it.

What are driver special abitlity points and how do you get it?
Thnks in advance.

I'm only asking this because I was on this server once where some people kept getting onto ATVs and crash/suicide into another team vehicle and then punishing them for tk and even getting them kick after a while. So do you get points for punishing someone or are they just being assholes?
