I am interested in this myself. I know without expansion you get one at each rank specified in UBAR but if you have SF does it just become 2 at each or is it done differently to get to the 14 unlocks?

It's in the Special Forces mod but not where you can get it awarded. It would have been awarded on time used. It is collected in the stats as a vehicle and must have a problem in getting accurate time or something. Hopefully fixed in next patch.

That is what it is. I have talked to Chaulky on this early on when there was a glitch like mentioned above and no pic showed at all.

I know for a fact that the Meritorious Unit Ribbon is given out in SF. I would say all the regular awards are available also.
The basic grenadier badge you are referring to is an award for a mod I am making. NOT an SF new award. I posted this info in the original thread but it seems everyone that has referred to my site for awards info left out that all the ranks and the grenadier badge are custom ones.
I wouldn't say there are alot of errors on my site - you mention one???. I did check the global on the ziplines and such - they are per round but seems odd that the expert is IAR also and that is why I put global at first glance at the requirements.[BD]AC wrote:
there is some other site with all new badges, medals, requirements etc but there are lot of errors in it:

f.e. basic zipline specialist badge u need 10 zipline uses in 1 round and not global (and also on different ziplines)
for veteran zipline badge they say 3000 uses global tho but zipline uses are not counted in bfhq stats or is it hidden somewhere?
There is a badge but you won't be able to earn it due to the code being commented out. Now if a server wanted too - they could uncomment it and you would recieve it.
I don't know - He sent me a whole folder of python files and alot seem to be the ranked server pythons.
I got it from the medal_data.py file I got from a guy who already has the dvd.
I have the requirements for most complete. There are a few medals that I could not find the requirements for.
Ranks did not seem to change that I could tell.

You can see them at the link below. I have not put the absolute positive requirements only the default criteria. The requirements come later today.

I will also be checking for new ranks but I have not seen any evidence at first glance.
Everything except the grenadier are official ones.
The ones where the image is slightly larger are from Special Forces. Don't get your hopes up to much. About 75% are remakes of existing awards with the same criteria and probably same requirements.

I may be wrong with the salute (been out of military a long time) but I do know that SMOA outrank all but generals. Just read the rules on that one within the last week. I just thought I was putting 1+1 to equal 2 with the salute and failing memory of the saluting regs (maybe mixing it up with medal of honor recipiant).
If SMOTC is the same as SMOA is to the army then you are wrong. SMOA outrank all officers except Generals and officer under general salute him/her.clssfdlogic wrote:
Thats partially correct. SMOTC works at the Pentagon. 2LT's are quite abundant in the military. However, they still technically outrank the SMOTC. E-9 with probably 26+ years in is definitely making more than a butterbar with under 2.Maleki_MC wrote:
Honestly.... For the Butter Bar, and SMOTC.. That is NOT a demotion. Buter Bars get almost no respect in the real military. The SMOTC is a nice job in Washington as a go between for the High Ups such as the president and all to the enlisted ranks. The SMOTC makes a HELL of alot more money than, AND recieves 1,000 times more respect than a pissant Butter Bar
Still, the SMOTC salutes the Lieutenant.
I'd rather still be a Warrant than either of those....

rename png to dds then convert to png works for me.
refresh still leaves them in bold.
SMOC will probably be replaced with 5-Star General in my best guess. 5-Star being the top rank that only one holds and rotates each month.
Mine are the same way. They stay bold until I hit mark all as read.
I will search for the navy version later but I do not know why you would think the SMOC would be rated under Lt's while the SMOA would be positioned after the senior general officer present. I do not know positively that they are ranked the same but I would definately bet money they are very similar!5. The Director of the Army Staff, Sergeant Major of the Army, and other service equivalents: Within the Army, the DAS and SMA are accorded special status. In the NCR (Non Commisioned Ranks), the DAS and SMA have precedence over all other LTGs (Lieutenant Generals), and outside the NCR, the DAS is ranked with LTGs while the SMA may be positioned after the senior general officer present. Former Service Senior Enlisted Advisors are ranked immediately following the currently serving Service Senior Enlisted Advisors at Army exclusive events ONLY. Former Service Senior Enlisted Advisors should be placed in front of other retired members of the same grade (E-9) at Multi or Joint service events.
For your info...
All the way upto but not including generals have to salute a SMOC because they outrank the officer. The page you reference just groups the ranks and doesn't show any military order of rank except in those groupings.

I believe EA shut down some more sites. My clan stats were banned LOL. But that is ok because most of us don't play on EA ranked servers anymore anyways. We use ABR to host our own private world for our own server ranking.
