if we do 45kph which is about 28mph over we instantly lose our license and get a 2k fine...

They don't just drop the charges if you go to court. It's not like showing up means something to them. You actually have to defend yourself and prove why you weren't going that fast.

In CA you can go to traffic school once every 18 months and it removes the points off your record.  Not sure how it works in MD though.

Either way, 90 is too fast!

Here in Austria you have to pay 80€ per year to use the Autobahnen.
That money directly goes into maintenance of them and it apparently still isn't enough to get to the deluxe levels of quality Autobahnen like Germany has.

In fact, our Autobahnen are like the regular federal highways in Germany, with 4 lanes, exits and no intersections.

So I have to wait three years for it to go away and hope that my insurance doesn't see it and raise my rates if I don't go to court and try to have them taken off.  Of course Virginia DOES offer traffic school to get rid of points though, fuck this worthless state.

Guess I gotta have an anxiety attack and go to the courthouse and get in front of people to give a bullshit story to the judge to get rid of the points from the ticket
