I've also discovered that flickr strips embedded copyright data from files. I was hoping this would have been a great alternative to having a watermark

You can also set your images at flickr to prevent downloading (spaceball.gif). There is of course ways around, but it's another step.

there was an Arbotoreum(?) in Balboa Park, and between the wife and i we took seventy pictures there.

Lol, the cafe is right next to the 5th ave theater (mom works there) so they jack up the prices as much as possible.  Its one of the better places to go for food on breaks... Everything around there is overpriced, but thats the city for you

Nice buy Kimmmmm.. I've wanted a 30 or 35mm prime for a while. DO want the 35mm f/1.4L (will so never happen, but I have played with one. It. Was. )
