Can the mods just merge the threads and create one football thread. There's one for the Premier League, one for the Champions League. But what about things like other leagues, Spanish League, Italian League, FA Cup, Spanish cup, Carling cup etc etc..

You can't all make individual threads for that shit.

Just merge all the damn Football threads into one football thread. I don't know where to post all the lulz about the fact that Real Madrid lost 4-0 to some third division side. WHERE DO I POST THE LULZ.

That was an excellent game by Milan. Wonderful defending by Nesta in the middle, completely destroyed Madrid's center offense. It's great seeing Seedorf putting so much effort and energy into the game even after 90 minutes, and Ronaldinho was a joy to behold, especially the combinations with Zambrotta.

Liverpool can get through by

Beating Fiorentina and Debreceni but Fiorentina have to lose against Lyon in their last match too.

Liverpool will be knocked out if

Fiorentina draw against Liverpool or;
Fiorentina beat Liverpool or;
Fiorentina beat Lyon or;
Fiorentina draw against Lyon and Liverpool don't get a better goal difference.

ATM Fiorentina have +3, Liverpool -2.

It's doable, but unlikely.

Also the next CL games, Liverpool are playing Debrecen away whilst Fiorentina play Lyon at home. Even if Liverpool beat Debrecen if Fiorentina get a point against Lyon (at home) then that's it for them. I can't see Fiorentina losing at home to Lyon.

Yeah, if it wasn't for Valdes' awesome saves, we would have been screwed. The guy really does show up in the most important of matches, even though he was standing still most of the time, when he was needed, he did fantastically.

Your whole post made it out as if Liverpool were playing Fiorentina first, it matters that they first have to play Debrecen whilst Fiorentina are at home to Lyon
