How? We get the cheapest parts in the world.

Although, yeah. he wants to waste his money on 1TB of space and a QX9650 and Blu-Ray. Wtv. Not my RIG

And no point with GTX since the G92 performs around 5 percent slower anyway. And plus, the GTX is only useful for TRI SLI.

Cheapest? The same rig would cost less than 3000 USD in the US.

Lol I doubt that very much, that is one serious rig

The processor alone is £645, or $1290 dollars.

Because Jesus Christ himself apparently blessed the 8800GTS G92.

You probably will see the 8800GTXs diminish. I've already seen newegg no longertcarries he asus one.

To everyone who thinks it's way overpriced:

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6819115034 - $1059.99
MOBO: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6813131255 - $329.99
RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6820227178 x2 - $195.98 (97.99)
VGA: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6814150267 x2 - $659.98 ($329.99)
HD1: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6822136220 - $154.99
HD2: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6822136205 x2 - $239.98 ($119.99)
Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6811119121 - $239.00
DVD Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6827136117 x2 - $53.98 ($26.99)
Blu-ray: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6827131055 - $599.99
PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6817171022 - $299.99
CPU Cooler: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6835109125 - $59.99
Monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6824001098 - $1229.99
Speakers: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6836121120 - $262.99
Mouse: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6826104178 - $39.99
Keyboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6823126034 - $89.99

TOTAL: $5516.85 USD
That's only a $753 difference.

I didn't get all the parts exactly the same. I got as close to the same as Newegg carries.

Great build.

EDIT: By the way, to the people questioning the 8800GTS. It is actually faster than the 8800GTX on core speed, but the memory falls slightly behind. With a little OC'ing it is a better card in the long run.

Why do you have such a problem with people spending a lot of money on things they enjoy?

Look at all the people who drop thousands upon thousands of dollars on cars, boats, snowmobiles, ATV's, dirtbikes, guns, home theater stuff, and tons of seemingly "useless" other things.

Sure it will be "outdated" in 6 months to a year, but it isn't the best of the best to start with.

EDIT: lol if I owned those cars I'd want to drive them, not sit shotgun while my driver had all the fun.

I know SupremeFXII is no match to X-Fi. But he is a complete tech noob and since I own an X-Fi myself. I know that you hafta change to headphone mode when you use headphone input and tweak stuff with different connections etc.

I can very much bet that within 2 days, he'll go ZOMG NO SOUND WTF? HOW I FIX????111!!!

So lets just keep controls to a minimum.

I dunno, it just bothers me. Its pointless in my eyes.  Cars, Boats, and everything else above are not pointless luxuries.  You can get an amazing computer for like $2,000....I think that computer above is overkill.  I dunno, it just seems stupid and pointless to me.  I also thought that it was this kid droppin this money because he had nothing else to do with the money...if its some established millionaire...im not as shocked....but i still think its pointless and unnecessary.
