Hillary Clinton will take the Democratic nomination even if she does not win the popular vote, but persuades enough superdelegates to vote for her at the convention, her campaign advisers say.
So, the democrats have spent the last years bitching about how W. stole the election.

So obviously, Obama is on a roll and will win the popular vote. But, Hillary has the political machine behind and rumors are that no matter what happens with the primary vote she will get the nomination.

So all these eager-beaver democrats bleating and blathering their way like rats following a Pied Piper will soon find out that their votes still don't matter and that despite ( what will be ) overwhelming popular support for Obama the woman will get it anyway. She will continue the war(s). She will attempt to giver health care to everybody ( remember, there are no illegal people ), but fail.

And the democrat vote will have been ignored.

What will become of the impending theft of the election by Hillary Clinton; will democrats riot at the convention like they did in 1968? Will the party faithful be left standing empty handed and bewildered ( like the conservatives viewing George Bushs legacy )? Will the system revert to anarchy when the people realize their vote is meaningless in the face of superdelegates and campaign cash?

Interesting times.

Imagine; all of these primary victories are nothing, the high delegate count is meaningless. Democrats, Hillary is your only choice.

How come we haven't heard anything about these super-delegates until now? Have they always been in control over who gets voted in for the nomination/presidency? Or do they only control who gets nominated for their party?

Like I said in the other thread. The fallout would destroy DNC credibility.

I cant imagine them(democrat bigdogs) not seeing how divisive Hillary is.  If they want every god damned republican and their mother to vote in this presidental election, they'll let Hillary bribe her way into the race.

It's such bullshit. So basically, America's not going to be choosing who the nominee is. A bunch of politicians and other people will be.

Wow.

Yep, is would be another Bush vs. Kerry except it would be within the democratic party, it would be fun to see how they would reform their electoral process.

He did say it today, yesterday, and the day before.

Hillary is going after pledged delegates as well.

If Hillary won by superdelegates, not only would Republicans turn up in full force against her, but Democrats who strongly supported Obama wouldn't vote at all.  Many blacks would see this action as racism, and they would vote against the Democratic party.  In other words, Hillary doesn't stand a chance.

If Hillary takes the nomination through political maneuvering and completely ignores the popular vote, I honestly believe the Democratic Party is gone. Done.

No one outside the party would take them seriously, all the loyalists would feel utterly betrayed, and it would be one of the most spectacular implosions of an organization since Enron.

I even read that Hillary is trying to take both super delegates as well as pledged delegates. While it is known that super delegates can go wherever the wind takes them, pledged delegates are expected to vote the same way as the popular vote in their district. However, it seems that, while expected, it is not required that they vote that way. Well, she's latched on that little clause and is wheeling and dealing like a salesman in a bad suit for those votes.

If she takes the DNC nomination, she will not only have handed a Democratic sure-win to the Republicans on a gold endorned, jewel encrusted silver plater, but succeded in murdering her own party

It's the "perfect storm" as Rush would say. I think there would be an uproar if Hillary gets even one pledged delegate to switch to her camp.

I would very much like to see Hillary fail as well.  In fact, it would be the most wonderful thing to happen, even more wonderful than me getting a new car and winning the lottery combined.

I am at a complete loss as to what the Pro-Hillary democrats are thinking.

They have to see that she will unify to Republicans better than any Republican can, including the ghost of Reagan. And Jesus. They have to have noticed how bad it looks every time one of these articles comes up. As the campaign continues, she keeps getting uglier and uglier (strictly politically speaking, of course.)

And yet, she stays in the race, and those extremely sheltered people (for that is the only way this could possibly happen) continue to support her.

To sell out your entire party for the chance to be a nominee for President is the epitome of selfish, short sighted, and corrupt.

And that is why I choose Obama and hate Hillary.

Actually lots of Hildogs super dels said if she does not win Texas and Ohio they are going to Obama. So basiclly if she doesnt suck off every guy or tranny out there there is no way in hell she'll get the nomination.
